I don't own Harry Potter or the song I love you more than you will ever know by NeverShoutNever! or anything else you recognize!

Hi, guys, and Merry Christmas! windwalker28 has requested a pairing for a oneshot as a Christmas present, and I gladly oblige. Here's your Draluna fanfic, lovey!

...

I've been to heaven, I've been to hell

I've been to Vegas and God knows where

But nothing feels like home like you, babe,

I love you more than you will ever know

I Love You More Than You Will Ever Know-Nevershoutnever

Nothing, Draco decided, was better than love. Nothing. Not one single thing. Especially when this love was shared by Luna Lovegood.

Luna was the most amazing person in the entire world. She loved him despite everything that had gone on in his past. She loved him despite the fact that he'd once been so cruel to her, despite that he had previously been employed by a blood-thirsty and sadistic dictator, and that he had followed so blindly.

It didn't matter to her anymore, and that was what made her so amazing.

He'd been so many places, done so many horrible, unspeakable things, and she was able to forget about it and love him. Which was why he loved her so much.

"What are you thinking about, Draco?" Luna asked casually. She was rested against Draco's chest as the two sat in front of a cozy, roaring fire, waiting for the clock to strike midnight. That would make it Christmas day. Luna liked staying up to watch the day change. It fascinated her, Draco could tell.

"You," Draco replied, stroking her hair that reminded him of starlight.

"Me?" she replied curiously, leaning her head a little bit so she could look at his face. She liked to see a person's eyes when she spoke to them.

"All I ever think about is you," Draco responded. "You don't have to ask."

"I wonder," she said, returning her gaze to the fire, "what path your thoughts about me follow."

"That's easy," Draco said. "How much I love you. How you'll never be able to see how much I love you."

Draco could see her ever-present, though incredibly small and dazed, smile grow almost imperceptibly.

"I'll never be able to see it?"

Draco shook his head and kissed the top of her head. "Never. There's too much of it."

"I think I can see it."

"You do?"

Luna nodded. "You do a wonderful job of showing it, Draco. The little things. Like this moment now..." she counted the things he did to prove his love on his own fingers, pulling his spare hand in front of her and raising one finger. "Spontaneous moments, like when you take me to my favourite places. Like when you tell me you love me, or when you kiss me, and your eyes spill with happiness. Like when you do small things like open doors for me or get things ready for when I might need to use them. All the little things."

"All the little things," Draco repeated. He thought about the velvet box in his pockets. That ring sure was a little thing, despite how much it cost. And something so small couldn't possibly prove how much he loved her.

He shook his head. "I love you more than you could ever possibly know, Luna."

She smiled. "Love at its fullest cannot be seen. And it is not rivalled. I love you as well, Draco."

"More than you will ever know," Draco replied.
