Here's the cute Christmas one shot I promised. Sorry that it is almost too late. A friend of mine passed away on the 23rd and my whole town has been busy being in mourning. So that kinda threw off my schedule of getting this done before Christmas. I hope everyone had a happy holidays and enjoyed spending time with their family and friends, you never know when they may be gone.

~Dreaming of Dance

Christmas day was coming to an end as Cindy and Jimmy arrived home after being at his parent's house to celebrate the holiday. It was their first Christmas being married and they were relieved that it had worked out well. They weren't sure how it would go with having both of their parents in the same room for a whole day. The only time that something hadn't gone catastrophically wrong when getting them together was their wedding day; and even then his mother and her mother and gotten into an altercation on whether Cindy should have her hair up or down for the ceremony.

"I know this sounds bad but I'm so happy that this day is almost over." Cindy exclaimed while dropping her purse on the floor, throwing off her jacket, and flopping onto the couch in the living room.

"Honestly I'm with you on that one. I was on edge all day just waiting for a fight to start." He joined her on the couch and pulled her into his arms, allowing Cindy to lay on him.

"Next year I say we have Christmas at our house." She rolled onto her stomach so she could wrap her hands around his neck.

"Just the two of us." He smiled as she leaned into the kiss him. As they slowly kissed he ran his fingers through her hair and down her back. Soon things became heated as the kiss became deeper and he sat up so that she could straddle his lap.

"I like it when it's just the two of us." He whispered into her ear causing her body to shutter. A small smile lingered on her lips as she remembered something.

"Hold on, I forgot something." She said as he kissed her jaw line, not paying attention to what she was saying.

"Jimmy, I said hold on." She pulled away playfully, and scooted herself away from him. She went to stand up but he held onto the fabric on the bottom of her dress.

"Where do you think your going?" She tugged her dress away from him and he frowned. She walked over to their Christmas tree and bent down to pick up a small rectangular box.

"There's one more gift that I haven't given you yet." Jimmy raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"I thought we decided that we would exchange all the gifts at my parent's house." She closed the space between them and sat on his lap again.

"I know, but I wanted to share this one with you alone." He was suspicious and had no idea what could be in the box. He shook it but it didn't make a noise.

"Just open it Neutron." He ripped open the wrapping paper and casually threw it to the side. Cindy stared at him in anticipation, not being able to wait to see his reaction. He finally took the lid off the box and stared into it. He picked up the paper that lay inside, still staring at it with almost no expression on his face. The longer he didn't say anything the more nervous Cindy began to get. When she felt like she was going to die of an anxiety induced heart attack, she saw a smile form on his face.

"You're pregnant." He continued to look at the ultra sound photograph in awe at the small embryo that would be their first child.

"I know we wanted to wait but I guess it just sort of happened." He leaned forward to plant a reassuring kiss on her mouth.

"I still agree that we spend next Christmas at our house. Just the three of us." He was grinning from ear to ear and she couldn't help to smile back. She couldn't wait till next year.
