PART ONE - Forever is what I meant.

Beep, beep, beep. Your alarm clock went off for the fifth time. 'Oh

crap' you thought to yourself. The small digital clock read 9:30am.

You were still jet-lagged from the journey.

Somehow you managed to drag your drowsy body out of bed, with a lot of

effort needed. For a minute you were confused about where you were,

you blinked multiple times while staring at the

cieling, 'oh yeah' you remembered you were in California in your new

step dads mansion.

You felt odd, you weren't used to a bedroom so large, you prefered

your original, squishy, messy, posteterd room. You remembered back to

the last day you had spent in that room.

*Flashback* Your mom walked in and said "Honey, have you packed all

your belongings?" she smiled sweetly, you couldn't remember the last

time she had been this happy. That was the only reason you agreed to

move in the first place, for your mothers happiness. She hadn't smiled

like that since her and dad were still together. Your dad left a while

ago, back when you were five. You had a very vague memory of him, your

mom got full custody of you. You never bothered going to see him every

holiday break, he didn't either... maybe it was because he lived back

in Australia, but then again he never visited you when you lived there

either.

The sound of your door opening caused you to stop daydreaming. You

examined the room, very spaced, light shade of pink walls, huge bed,

flat screen, balcony, bathroom and walk in wardrobe. You felt tiny,

this was all too much, and it was really uneeded. You walked out to

the balcony and looked outside, first thing you realise was the beach,

it was like your backyard. You then noticed a big tree next to your

balcony, climable you thought toTechnically, I'm single. But my heart

is taken by someone I can't call my own. yourself. You looked further

down to see a pool and spa, you don't want this.. 'I want to go back

to Australia and jump on the trampoline in my tiny backyard, I miss

jumping on it and throwing water bombs at the neighbors roof with my

bestfriend, Katie.' you thought to yourself.

Tears welled up in your eyes as you reminisced. "Sweetie..?" said a

voice. You quickly wiped away your tears and turned around to see your

mom leaning against your bedroom door staring at you. "Yeah mom?" you

croaked. She walked up and hugged you. "You're going to be late for

school, darling." she said sweetly while gently brushing your back. "I

already am." you said while laughing through tears. "Well, you don't

have to go if you don't want to, I mean-" she started. "Mom.. I got

this" you interrupted. She smiled and walked out.
