This is my first fanfiction so please let me know what or how I could do better. I love this pairing and have a few more stories up my sleeve. I also ignore all interactions in this story relating to Leo and her being married (since it ended annulled anyway) *Cough* I hated him *Cough*. As much as I wish I did, I do not own Alli or any of the other characters in this story. I only had a dream about this after having a marathon.
Together Forever
It was the day of her wedding… well her SECOND wedding. After going back and forth for months, she and her parents had arranged a compromise. The night before consisted of a heavily cultural, and traditional Indian wedding for only their families to attend. While it was lovely and she looked extravagant in her sari, she still was more than excited to be in her big, white, fluffy princess gown. Her very own American (and in her mind modern) wedding.
Alli stood in her dressing room and made final touch ups as she stared into the mirror. She had butterflies in her stomach and could not wait for her father to come in to escort her. While she was technically already married, the newlyweds had stayed separate one more night until they were official to all the world. Alli would never have guessed they would have even gotten to this point in their lives, together. Forever. She could not stand it as she started worry about the rest of the day.
"Alli!" her bridesmaids Jenna and Clare called as they knocked and walked into the room. They had stepped out to make sure all the decorations and food were prepared so not to worry the already anxious bride.
"Everything looks beautiful and ready to go. Your groom is at the end waiting for you and he does look handsome." Clare assured her best friend. The pianist started playing as Alli's father walked in. After wishing Alli a quick good luck, the bridesmaids quickly went to their spots to start the ceremony.
"Allia…" her father started. He started to tear up as he continued. "Are you really ready to leave us and become a wife?"
"I am father. Also, thank you. Not just for both weddings, but for allowing me to be myself and finding my own happiness. "she replied giddily.
"And even though he is not my handpicked Indian boy," he started to trail off
"Father! Again!? We just had this conversation yesterday."
"I know, I know. But you are my little girl. All grown up. But even if this was not my plan in the beginning of your life, you have found a wonderful man who loves and supports you. Not only that, but he respects you more every day. We could not wish for anything more." He started wiping his eyes as he spoke. His only girl and youngest child was leaving home. "Now about those grandchildren…" he said perking up.
"I have already told you that it will happen one day. Not today." She replied as they both chuckled.
Mr. Bhandari held out his arm, in which Alli gladly took hold of, and started to escort her out of the room. As they rounded the corner and saw the crowd, Alli seemed to be floating down the aisle with happiness. All eyes were on her as she glided towards her groom. Kissing her father on the cheek, she took her beloved's hands and stared at him with more love than she could imagine. To think that they had made it to this point with all the hardships in the part. Not only that, but no more supervised courting after this. Deep in her thoughts, Alli almost missed the officiant's request for the vows and rings.
"I do." she replied as the wedding was coming to an end.
"I now pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. DiMarco. You may now kiss the bride."
