A world of and for the dead, a world where people go when they die, C's world. Not a world of zombies or anything of the like, just a world of people, without their geass if they had one. A world which 'God' supposedly resides in and a world where the same 'God' can be killed. This was all nothing more than hypothetical theories to me.
I never really thought about what happens when you died, it didn't really concern me. I was more focused on my realizing my ideals. But now, I have achieved what I wanted to, something that required my death. I don't know what exactly I was expecting, but a gate with a C's World banner is rather surprising. I did wonder if C.C's initials ever influenced what this world's name or vice-versa.
I look to my right, then to my left, and finally behind me. Nothing, a light brownish color sky is all that exists, very much like in the C's world where I killed the emperor, my father, Charles zi Britannia. Nothing but a road leading forward is left. I walk towards the gate, slowly, looking for possible clues to where I was; a banner with C's world is not valid proof of my current location.
As I walk progressively closer to the gate, the landscape -the surroundings- change. Instead of an open sky and one lone road to a gate, a building materializes. Possibly in a living room, I am forcibly pressed until I end up sitting on a couch. In front of me, there are four people, who I should know, who I should recognize, but I simply can't. Unable to see people, I see human-shaped blurs.
"Lelouch?" someone asks in a questioning, but light-hearted tone. "It's me, Euphie."
I close my eyes, and reopen them. As if what I previously saw did not exist, my eyesight is perfectly fine. In front of me are Euphie across from me, Charles and Marianne on my left, and Clovis on my right. The family members that I killed with my bloodstained hands.
