(a/n - in gypsy rosalie's fic Money Angel, she mentions Adrian reading a poem about Carmen. Well, here it is! With her permission I have written said poem, as I was in a poetic mood. It is terrible, I know, but part of me thinks that a poem about Carmen wouldn't be of great quality, anyway. Well, that's my excuse...)
Carmen.
Carmen,
Your beautiful eyes capture me,
I am lost for words,
Whether we are by the sea,
Or in a forest surrounded by birds.
Carmen,
Your athletic figure that I see,
Is simply the best about,
There's nowhere I would rather be,
Than with you, that I don't doubt.
Carmen,
All the romantic trips we share,
The hall, the field, the park,
I know that with you without a care,
I can do the sports of the dark.
Carmen,
Once upon a time I felt so low,
My life was hanging by a thread,
But then you gave me that earth moving blow,
And knocked away was all of my dread.
Carmen,
I want to show you how much you mean,
In these words black and white, not colourful,
So unlike the other times that have been,
Next time really will be wonderful!
(a/n - sorry, couldn't find a good rhyming word for wonderful but it is such a key word. Anyway, this is terrible but let me know what you think!)
