Hide and Seek through Time and Space
"So, Rose Tyler, what would you like to do today? The Doctor asked. He looked up from the console to look at his blonde companion.
"I don't know. How about a game.?" Rose suggested.
"Okay. We could have a game of hide and seek while we zoom through time." The Doctor said turning to give Rose a high-five.
"And space!" Rose said. "Sounds great Let me warn you though, I'm a great hider." She smirked.
"You can hide first. I'll find you pretty fast, so don't get too comfortable." He said.
"Bigger on the inside means more places to hide. Count to thirty." Rose said and ran off.
"One, two, three, four- twenty-eight, twenty-nine, thirty. I'm coming to find you." He yelled to Rose.
"I'd like to see you try it!" She yelled back.
The Doctor checked room after room for Rose, but couldn't find her. "She wasn't kidding when she said she could hide well." He muttered. He was about to give up when he heard a noise.
"A a Achoo!" A sneeze came from the console room. He ran there, and saw under the console was Rose. She had been hiding in the most obvious spot.
"You weren't kidding when you said you were good. I commend you, but your sneeze gave you away."
"Thank you. Your turn to hide. I'll count to thirty." Rose said.
"Alright. Prepare to meet your match in hiding. I, Miss Tyler, am the best hider in the universe. " The Doctor gloated as he ran to hide.
"Right, well, I'm an excellent seeker." Rose said. "One, two, three- twenty-eight, twenty-nine, thirty. I'm coming, Doctor." She searched everywhere she thought he would be hiding. All of a sudden, the Doctor's hiding place was a no-brainer. The TARDIS gave her his location.
Inside the room was a large bed. The color scheme was mahogany, and it smelled like him. In the corner was the Doctor attempting to hide.
"I found you, Doctor. What room is this? It's a beautiful room." Rose said, helping him up.
"It's mine. Glad you like it. Rose, can I ask you something?" He asked. The Doctor looked nervous.
"Sure. What is it?" Rose asked.
"It's about you and me. I know you are my companion, my best friend, but I want to be more than that. Now, I don't know if you feel the same way, but I-" The Doctor's rambling was cut off by a kiss from Rose. It was gentle and soft. All doubts went away.
"I feel the same way, Doctor. I love you. I always have, and I'm gonna stay with you forever." Rose said causing him to embrace her, and kiss her again.
"I love you too, Rose. I will love you forever even when the end of your days come." The Doctor held her close.
"Who knows, maybe Bad Wolf will keep me alive forever." Rose responded.
"That would be amazing. Brilliant theory, Rose Tyler! That's another reason I love you." The Doctor said. He kissed her again.
