Disclaimer: I do not own Doctor Who, Martha, Jack, airplanes, kangaroos, or anything else of any concern.

So I haven't done a follow up in a while and I figured I would! I don't love everything about this story, because it repeats a little bit off other plots, but overall I like it fairly well. Here it is!

Martha peered out of the plane window as the wings of the plane left the ground in a burst. Jack didn't look too interested; he was too busy leading through a pamphlet on Australia.

"This is so dumb," he said suddenly, obviously annoyed. "This thing makes it sound like kangaroos are a common sight in Australia, but we didn't get to see them even once."

"Well," Martha said reasonably, "that's not the only reason we came there, right?"

Jack raised his eyebrows. "What was the other reason?"

"Jack-" Martha couldn't help but smile. "That's dumb. We had a great time."

Jack slammed the pamphlet back into his bag. "Speak for yourself. I wanted to see a kangaroo. This trip wasn't cheap, you know, and I didn't even get to see a kangaroo."

Martha rolled her eyes. "Jack, you work for Torchwood and you're immortal. You don't have financial troubles."

Jack grinned. "True, very true," he said sleekly, instantly not angry. "I'm the richest man in the world."

Martha raises the shade so the sunlight was brighter and said, "No, you're not. I hate to break it to you, but there are richer people."

There was a silence as Jack turned to stare at Martha. "Excuse me," he said in an official voice, "but that was inappropriate. My financial status is none of your business."

"You were just taking about it," Martha protested. "Besides, before you said you were rich you were complaining about money."

"I was just remarking that for what I spent I should have seen a kang-"

"No, you were taking like it was hard for you to aff-"

"No, I wasn't-"

"Excuse me," somebody interrupted them sharply. "Could you two please keep it down? You're disturbing the other passengers."

It was the airline stewardess. She frowned at Jack especially, her hands on her hips.

"Whoa," Jack said, holding up his hands. "We were just having a discussion. It's really none of your business what me and my esteemed colleague talk about."

"Actually, when you're disturbing the other-"

"We're not DISTURBING anyone-"

"Sir, it's my job to decide whether or not you're disturbing-"

"Hey!" This time, Martha held up her hands. "You're both disturbing everybody."

The stewardess just scowled and stormed away up to the front of the plane, but Jack looked amused. "I'll never get tired of you yelling at people," he said pleasantly.

Martha, however, ignored this and said simply, "Esteemed colleague? Really?"

Jack shrugged. "What's wrong with that? Do you not feel esteemed?"

Martha rolled her eyes for the second time in a half hour. "You know that isn't what I meant."

"Well, of course not," Jack said, as if he thought she was ridiculous for not understanding exactly what he was thinking. "You're more of a good friend."

The stewardess stared in astonishment as Jack kissed Martha, the sunset rising through the plane window.

Did you like it? I hope so!

Please review! It means a lot! I have no idea if I'll ever end this series (probably not), but as a kind of review question you could review and say whether you think it should have an ending or just keep on going?

Bye then...?!

Linley =)
