Reigen sat in the back room of the office. Mob wouldn't be there today, he decided the kid needed some rest. He focused on one of the stupid looking posters that was laying on the ground. He was in fact a self proclaimed psychic, but he was no faker when it came to his knowledge of spirits. He let Mob do all the work so he could be stronger. If Reigen had the choice, he would have kept Mob's powers a secret, so he wouldn't be in so much danger. That's why he kept his mouth shut as a kid, and even today. He doesn't let anyone know about them.
Believe it or not, Reigen Arataka is a truly strong esper. It was only when he started the business, did he start putting his power out in the town. Why else was he still in business before that kid Shigeo showed up? The reason no one could sense an aura from him was because he had suppressed the power for so long. He wasn't scared of them, most certainly not, but he was sacred of what they would bring.
Reigen stood up and scooped some of the salt from a glass jar in the hidden room and dropped it in a plastic bag. This was not table salt, he wasn't nearly stupid enough to go to a job by himself without purified salt. He had mounds of it, along with holy water, charms of different sorts and anything you might find in a believable exorcist's office. He kept it all hidden though.
It it was all worth it, seeing Mob grow and learn his powers by himself. He only wished Mob wouldn't thank his so called Master for it. Reigen wanted Mob to be proud of himself for achieving it all on his own. Even so, he was grateful for his students respect. He was certainly proud of his student, he'd grow up much better than he did.
Reigen was glad Mob was comfortable and proud of his powers, and not ashamed and hiding like he was at his age. He was proud.
