TMNT: Celia
Chapter One
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the TMNT characters except Celia and other possible OCs. (Come on now the site is called Fanfiction for a reason)
Jus so you won't shoot me in the near future this story does not fallow the show down to the letter, it does fallow it but there will be changes. Ok we good? Ok ON WARD MY FRIENDS.
I lied on my bed staring blankly at the ceiling trying to conjure up my memories before I had lived with Doctor Stockman who claimed to be my creator. Sure he had given me this ability to locate these artifacts for his employer 'The Shredder' but it was obvious I wasn't related to him.
Doctor Stockman was a brilliant man that was famous for his inventions. I liked to read and listen to music. I got by with math and science but that's it. His hair but short and black and his skin was also dark. Me? I was as pale with slivery gray eyes and had long dark brown wavy hair.
I rolled over to my side. He didn't raise me but I don't remember meeting him. It's like my life was an old VHS tape and someone had cut out the beginning. I asked him once about my past but he got angry and yelled so I never brought it up again.
I can't say that he's cruel to me because most of the time he's not. He did daily checkups on me to make sure my health was always in good condition and even had me learn how to fight by training with some of the foot ninjas. The weapon I seemed to work best with was the fans but they had me learn how to use several other weapons just in case. Even though I really hate fighting and didn't like weapons probably why I was so good at the fans because I didn't really see them as weapons most of the time.
I sighed and sat up. Doctor Stockman always did take good care of me even though he barely let me out of the top floors of the Stocktronics and when he did it was to simply transfer me over to where ever it was the Shredder lived.
Speaking of Shredder I did remember the first time I met him and his right hand man Hun. It wasn't really a pleasant experience. Doc. Stockman was introducing me as his latest accomplishment and what he had asked for and that's when I found out what the real reason was for giving me these powers, because Shredder was looking for a sword that he called the sword of Tengu. I didn't know why he wanted these things so badly; my best guess was that he was a collector. From the picture that was shown to me it was obvious that it was Japanese. Ancient Japanese, like the sword of a warlord.
I heard the door handle move and glanced over at the right side of the room where the entrance was. Doctor Stockman came through dressed in his usual white lab coat dark brown pants with rounded dark brown shoes and his thick rimmed glasses perched high on his nose looking like your typical scientist.
"Celia dear it's time to go."
I didn't ask where we were going because I knew whenever he said that it meant time to leave and go see the shredder. I nodded and got off the bed. As we road down in the elevator he told me about his latest invention the mouser robot.
"It's to help clean the city of rats?" I asked
"Well…" He smirked "Sort of."
I just blinked at him and went back to staring at the doors of the elevator that had a large red S to represent Stockman. With a ping the doors slid open and we went out to the roof where the helicopter was. We got strapped in and took off into the sky. I stared out at New York City below us. I enjoyed this city with the millions of people that seemed to roam the streets all hours of the day. Even though I only ever saw it from a window's perspective it was beautiful with all its buildings with different shapes and sizes that gleamed in the sunlight.
I stopped asking Doc. Stockman if I could go outside since I pretty much just got the same reaction to me asking him about my past.
"Too many things could happen to you down there, you're far too valuable to take such risks!" His voice echoed in my head
When we landed Hun was the one to escort us down to the shredder's 'office'.
Hun was a very large man, and I don't mean as in fat. I mean he's a good six feet tall and it looked like he had muscles over his muscles making him seem like a half giant. He always dressed in a sleeveless shirt that was either black or white but always wore long black pants with matching dark shoes. He kept his hair long and tied back into a low pony tail and always had a stone cold expression on his face. Hun also had three scars on his right cheek that looked like they were from some kind of an animal.
Doctor Stockman hated him just as much as he hated the Shredder and often referred to him as over grown buffoon and said he was like a T-Rex, huge body tiny brain. But I don't think I should tell you the things he calls the Shredder when he's not listening, let's just say smart people are very creative when it comes to name calling. But he always told me to treat them with respect, it's better for me to stay on their good side. Even though he never treated Hun with respect and barely gave the shredder any.
"So, Doctor how are your mousers? The Master will want an update." Hun said while we turned a corner into a hall.
"They are coming along just fine I'll have you know." Doctor Stockman replied and matched his pace with Hun.
Hun glance back at me to confirm what he had just said, I nodded and gave a small thumbs up. This seemed to satisfy him and sped up to take the lead again.
When we got at the hall way that lead only to the Shredder's office Hun had us stand back a ways so that he could announce that we had arrived. Doctor Stockman tapped his foot impatiently as Hun slide open the door and knelt at the thresh hold. I rubbed my hands together nervously since they kept shaking and tried to swallow the lump in my throat, I always had a great fear of the shredder even though he has never really harmed me.
"Bring them in." A smooth voice commanded.
Doctor Stockman strolled down the hall before Hun came back to get us and went into the room, I hesitantly fallowed after him.
"Ah Doctor Stockman, you've brought the tracker." The shredder grinned. He was standing with his hands behind his back observing me. It was like he was looking into my soul.
Tracker was the name they gave me after my gift. Hun closed the doors tightly behind us making me snap my head back to look at them. As I turned my head slowly back around to face the shredder once more I stopped and saw a suit of armor inside a glass case.
I stared at it knowing it wasn't there the last time I came here. It was probably made in ancient china or Japan because of its style the armor and helmet were black and seemed to shine inside the glass but besides its beauty the thing that stuck out to me was the two short blades that were attached to the hands of the suit.
I felt so drawn to it wanting to reach out and run my fingers along its seams.
"This suit is made of the same medal and has the same origin of the sword as you can see."
The shredder said bringing me out of my trance like state. I turned back to stare at him, he was smirking at me. No doubt he noticed my attraction to this artifact; it made me blush with embarrassment.
"Go one Celia, get a reading." Doctor Stockman encouraged.
I nodded. Once Hun opened up the glass case for me I pressed my hands against the chest plate. I flinched at the electric like feeling but then leaned into it memorizing the feeling. I steeled myself from letting my hands roam not wanting my audience to see my new found obsession. Finally I let my hands fall and took a couple steps back.
The electric feeling pulled me back to the suit but it also reached out of the room, most likely out of the building where the others were. "It's not here." I said.
The shredder chuckled "If it were here tracker I wouldn't need of you." well there's another way of saying DUH. The shredder then went all serious and turned to stockman.
"Are the mousers finished Mr. Stockman?" He asked
"Yes, ready for a test run. I will be presenting it. It's a breakthrough for technology a true work of art." Dr. Stockman answered proudly with his chest puffed out and his hands clasped behind his back.
I smiled at seeing him like this.
The shredder just nodded "I will expect a full report, meanwhile…" He turned his head to Hun. "Prepare for the hunt then activate phase one. When the sword is in my possession I will be one step closer to finding my enemies."
I blinked at this. The sword was going to help him find his enemies? Why was he looking for them? Hun bowed.
"Good bye doctor we will talk soon." And with that Hun lead us out of the room back to the helicopter where we flew back to stocktronics.
On the ride over I thought about what 'hunt' and phase one was. I hated not knowing anything, I was kept in the shadows a lot of the time it bothered me to no end but knew better than to question it too often.
"You did well Celia." Dr. Stockman complimented me
"Thank you Mr. Stockman but I was wondering what did the shredder mean by the hunt and phase one?" I asked politely with my head tilted to the side.
"Phase one my dear is nothing you have to worry about, however the hunt is when you will be going out to locate this sword with Hun, I'm afraid you'll just have to deal with his stupidity. Just remember your job and place and you should be fine." He answered and then took off his glass and started to clean them.
I'm going outside? Like, walking on the sidewalk? I fought down my excitement so he won't see even though I was dancing on the inside.
"I see." I answered and turned to look out the helicopter with grin my face.
