Wolf's Rain needs more support so I decided to try my hand at it! I had no idea what Toboe called the old woman he used to live with, so I just said Granny. Feel free to tell me what it really is in a PM or review! Also this is a little slighted towards Tsume x Toboe because I like them. XD It's not super obvious though.

Slowly he opened his eyes and saw what he could only describe as paradise. The lush grass, clear streams and herds of deer, it was all that he had ever dreamed of! Granny was even there, softly murmuring to him and gently stroking his glossy fur with her withered fingers. The scents in this place made him feel so alive, and his instincts were telling him that as long as he was here he wouldn't have to hide what he was.

Overjoyed he gave Granny's hand a lick before taking off to race through the vast meadows under the sun. With each step he took he felt its heat soaking through his slightly reddish brown fur. Everything was perfect but one thing. Where were the others? Had they not been able to find Paradise? The last thing he remembered was… Red.

Scarlet droplets falling like rain onto the pure white snow, infecting it with its sinister coloring. In some places the snow was melting into red pools because of the amount of the liquid that had been spilled in a concentrated area.

Laying his ears back Toboe sunk down into the grass, trying to forget, yet at the same time remember something important. It was lurking at the edge of his memory, there but out of reach.

"Toboe!" A few seconds later. "Toboe! You idiot…" Some amount of time later. "I wanted to take you to Paradise. You're the one who's kept me going all the way here…" Then it all faded away up until the point when he woke up with Granny. 'Did I die? Is that why I'm here? Is Paradise only for dead wolves?' He shook his head and tried to clear his thoughts. 'No I don't believe that. I'll find my way into the real Paradise so I can see my friends again.'

Determined he glanced back in the direction Granny was in.

"I'm sorry, but my pack is more important Granny," he whispered before sprinting off. He didn't know how long he had been running, but eventually he had to stop. Whimpering to himself he looked up at the sky before letting out a forlorn howl.

"I don't belong here! I want to go back to Tsume, Hige, Kiba and Cheza. I don't want to be alone!" Tears dripped down his muzzle and onto the ground. Exhausted he flopped down underneath a tall spruce and fell into a restless sleep.

It wasn't the escape he had been hoping for, even in his dreams he was haunted with the faces of his pack. More and more he saw them cruelly slaughtered for no reason, dying gruesome deaths that not a single one of them deserved. When he awoke the next morning his pelt was soaked with sweat and his throat hoarse from howling all night in his sleep.

Dejected he walked on with his muzzle down and tail dragging on the ground. There was no reason for Paradise if he was alone. Maybe that's what Paradise really was. He had been so happy during their search for Paradise because they had all been together, and now in the perfect world he was alone and miserable.

In a last ditch attempt to locate his friends he sniffed the breeze. It was faint, but definitely there. Tsume seemed to be the closest to him, with Kiba and Hige a considerable distance further.

"I'm coming!" He yelled aloud, his strength returning. "Wait for me!"

Maybe this was Paradise after all.

Explanation: They all died and went to the same place. I haven't gotten past that episode yet, so this is what my mind came up with. Please leave some lovely reviews for me and thanks for reading!
