Felicia felt like she was about to cry as she looked at the burnt contents of the pot that was to be Corrin's lunch.
"I messed up again..."
She put her pot into the sink as Oboro stepped in.
"Hm, did somebody burn someth- oh Felicia,"
"Hello Oboro..."
Oboro walked over and looked at the pot.
"What were you trying to make?"
"I was making a stew for Corrin but-"
"Huh, takes alot to mess up stew."
"Takes even more to burn water." Said Felicia.
"Wait, are you saying-"
Felicia simply nodded as Oboro got out a pot and started boiling water.
"You're in luck." Said Oboro. "I was about to make some miso soup for Lord Takumi and Corrin is welcome to have some."
"Oh thank you Oboro." Said Felicia. "Anything I can do to help? Aside from boiling the water?"
"No I got this." Said Oboro. As she added the Dashi.
"I insist, please let me help." Said Felicia. "Its my job as a maid."
"... I appreciate it but Lord Takumi is particular about his Miso soup." Said Oboro. "For his sake its better that I do it."
"But will Corrin be satisfied with it?"
"Oh I'm sure your boyfriend will be happy with it."
Felicia's face immediately turned a bright red.
"W-WE'RE NOT LIKE THAT!"
Oboro raised an eyebrow.
"Awfully loud of a response." Said Oboro.
"I'm Corrin's maid, nothing more nothing less..."
Oboro smiled mischievously.
"Oh hey Corrin, where did your shirt go?" Said Oboro
"M-milord?!"
Felicia looked around the kitchen frantically as Oboro chuckled.
"Sorry, no shirtless Corrin here." Said Oboro.
"You're awful." Pouted Felicia.
"And you just confirmed my theory."
Oboro leaned in closer to Felicia and smiled.
"You like Corrin."
"... Maybe I do, Maybe I don't." Said Felicia. "Either way it doesn't matter. The mere thought of a lord marrying his servant-"
"The forbidden fruit is usually the most tempting."
"Oh and you're one to talk!" Said Felicia. "I've seen you fawn over Takumi."
"... I'm not going to deny my feelings for Lord Takumi." Said Oboro. "Unlike you."
Felicia frowned and looked at the floor.
"... Lord Corrin deserves a better woman than me anyways." Said Felicia. "I'm clumsy, bad at my job, and I'm an awful chef."
Oboro looked at Felicia and smiled.
"But you're trying." Said Oboro. "And thats what really counts."
Felicia smiled.
"Thanks Oboro."
Oboro nodded.
"And hey, I'll support you every step of the way with Corrin." She continued.
"R-Really?"
"Yeah, you two make a cute couple."
"Then in that case I'll do the same for you with Takumi." Replied Felicia.
"Aw thanks." Said Oboro.
The two servants shared a smile of acknowledgement between each-other.
"... Say, is something burning?"
They both looked at the pot of soup, which was now on fire.
"HOW DID THIS EVEN HAPPEN!?"
"OH GODS NOT AGAIN!"
Corrin and Takumi walked down the hall side by side.
"Your archery skills are improving." Said Takumi.
"Thanks to you." Said Corrin. "At this rate I'll be a better shot than you."
"Heh, I doubt that."
They both noticed a trail of black smoke coming out of the kitchen up ahead.
"Is Reina cooking again?" Asked Corrin.
"No, its missing that foul stench that accompanies Reina's cooking attempts."
The walked into the kitchen to find Oboro throwing water onto the burning pot while Felicia sobbed in the corner.
"Oh Lord Takumi, Corrin." Said Oboro. "Theres been a mishap with lunch."
Corrin let out a sigh.
"I'll get Jacob."
