It's been about a year since I left Miami and I miss it like crazy. The only reason I left was because I thought that it was for the best. I'm only telling you this because I now realize that my daughter should not have to grow up without a father. the fact that I left before I was showing is going to be hard in order to convince Eric that she is his as much as she is mine. He is going to be mad, but its worth a try.

So Marisol and I are on the plane back to Miami. When we landed I rented a car and the first stop we made was to the Miami Dade crime lab. We got there and the first person we saw was Natalia, she looked at me with disbelief and then realization. She ran to me with arms wide open and gave me a hug.

"who is this precious little girl?", she asked.

"this is Marisol," I stated. She looked at me with a confused look.

"I named her after Eric's sister because Eric is the dad." I said knowing why she gave me that look. All of a sudden a tear runs down my cheek.

She asks me, "does he know?"

I say, "no and I feel so bad. The whole reason I'm here is because I don't think Marisol deserve to grow up without knowing who her father is and I do think Eric deserves to know."

Natalia said, "if you need ANY help I'm here." I quickly thanked her and then asked her where he was, she told me he was in the breakroom.

On my way to the breakroom Mari started to cry and I gave her favorite blankie. I spotted him laying on the couch watching…Medium. Of course he is, that is his favorite show, I laughed at that, even though he won't admit it to anyone!!! I cleared my throat and he looked up. Right away he turned away and .then looked back. I don't think it clicked. He choked, "Calleigh???" I just looked at him. He looked at our baby, of course not knowing she was his.

"why did you decide to come back?" he asked coldly.

"I figured Mari deserved to know who her father was."

"well why are you HERE, did you just think…hmmmmm let's go make my ex-boyfriend's life more miserable?" he said with anger and hurt in his voice.

"no I didn't. would u like me to leave? Hmmmm is that what you want? Do just want me to leave and NEVER come back?" I asked with stubborn tears escaping my eyes.

"YES, NEVER COME BACK" he said looking at the baby. She could tell how he wished that she was his.

'FINE, I GUESS I GET TO LEAVE WITHOUT TELLING HER DAD. HE CAN SEE HER NOW, HE JUST DOESN'T SEEM TO CARE ABOUT EITHER OF US." She cried as she ran out of the room with Mari. She ran to the bathroom, what she didn't know though was that Eric stood outside the bathroom door.
