Author's Notes: Not one of my best I think. It's short and very corny but I thought it was a cute idea. Love it, hate it? Tell me what you think. Thankies.

Rock N' Roll Momma:

By: Fancy Face

Claire had wanted some water, so Charlie wasted no time in getting some for her. When he returned, he found her singing to Little Charlie. He stopped for a moment and listened to her. He smiled as he listened. It wasn't your average lullaby. Instead, it was a old Queen song, "Someone To Love". Claire just slowed it down a bit. He had to admit that she had a beautiful voice.

"...Got no feel, I got no rhythm
I just keep losing my beat (You just keep losing and losing)
I'm OK, I'm alright (he's alright - he's alright)
I ain't gonna face no defeat (yeah yeah)
I just gotta get out of this prison cell
One day (someday) I'm gonna be free, Lord..."

Claire stopped when she saw Charlie from the corner of her. "Sorry." Charlie apologized and sat down next to her. "Here you go." He whispered and handed her a water bottle.

"How's the little guy?" Charlie asked.

"Asleep." she answered, holding him up so Charlie could see him.

Charlie could see that he was out like a light. He laughed quietly and said to Claire: "Interesting chice for a lullaby by the way."

"You heard me?" she asked, her face turning red with embarassment.

"Yeah, you're pretty good." Charlie complimented.

"You're such a liar." said Claire.

"I'm serious." Charlie went on. "Besides you get cool points from me. I don't know a lot of moms who would pick a Queen song for their lullaby."

Claire laughed. "Well Queen is awsome. Besides, I really don't know any lullaby type songs." She admitted. "It's not like my mum had a lot of time for me." Claire sighed, and changed the subject. "Anyway, I think he likes it. I'd rather have my son raised on those goodies but oldies then those mushy songs ya know?"

"Totally understandable." Charlie agreed. He paused a minute before asking her: "Have you ever thought about singing professionally?"

Claire had to contain herself with that one. "The sun has really gotten to you today hasn't it?"

"No, I'm dead serious." Charlie told her. "If we... Correction, when we get off this island you should come with me back to London. I know a few people."

"How about I think about it?" asked Claire. "Besides, you honestly think I'm what the people want?"

"Why not?" Charlie asked her. "Hell, look at Pat Benatar. She's a rock n' roll momma."

"This is true." replied Claire with another smile. "Hmmm... Claire Littleton, the next rock n' roll momma." she laughed. "Has a good ring to it."

"I told you."

Claire looked back down at her son and continued to sing. This time go round, Charlie joined in. Claire laughed to herself. If she was going to be the next rock n' roll momma, then he was going to be rock n' roll's next daddy.
