Delsin knew what loss meant, for his parents had died when he was young.. younger. But back then he had had Reggie with him. Back then they had shared the pain. But now Reggie was gone, and Delsin was left alone to deal with his sorrow. He had given a second chance to majority of Seattle's conduits, but in return he had lost much. After unleashing all of his anger and frustration in Augustine and basically driving her behind the bars Delsin had turned his back to Seattle and its inhabitants, for he had a promise to keep. He returned back home alone, and after healing Betty and the rest of the tribe he went back outside. The same billboard which he had used to unleash his creativity just a short while ago, now got a new meaning. Delsin wanted it to be an homage to his brother, whom he had still loved despite not being able to say or show it correctly.

- I love you, brother,

Delsin said as he set the spray can down.

- And I am sure going to miss you.

After taking one final glance at the billboard Delsin turned his back to it and started walking to the nearby beach, which had been one of his favorite places even as a kid. As he followed the familiar shoreline he thought about all those times when he had come here with Reggie.. Of course he had been a lot younger back then. As he grew up into adulthood Delsin had started to spend more and more time on this beach on his own.

As he turned to look at the distant horizon Delsin thought about everything that had happened. He had been so eager to go to Seattle, get concrete powers from Augustine so that he could heal his tribe, and maybe climb the Space Needle, for it was something he had always wanted to do. It all had seemed so easy back then, but now.. as all that was over, with Reggie gone and him back at Salmon Bay, he found himself wishing that he'd never even left. If he hadn't been so eager to do as he wanted to, Reggie would still be alive. It was Delsin's fault that Reggie was dead. After his death Delsin had been so blinded by his own anger that he had blamed it all on Augustine, but now he knew that he wasn't completely innocent himself, for all this had started on a whim.

- You were right, Reg..

he said in a guilty tone, feeling pain he hadn't felt in years. All that usual spunk and burning will, which always used to radiate from him.. they were long gone now. He was left with nothing but sadness and endless emptiness.

- You were right about everything.. you tried to warn me about Hank, but I didn't listen..

he went on as he sat onto a large rock, and took another glance into the horizon and the already setting sun, which colored the water with gold. Delsin let his head sink until he finally stared at his own reflection. He had grown so sick of that reflection and the person it belonged to, so he grabbed a small stone and threw it into the water, causing the reflection to dissolve and disappear just like Reggie had disappeared from his life. As he set his gaze back to the sky he noticed how grateful he was of the fact that no one had followed him here, for he just wanted to be alone. He had all those powers he had gained during his trip to Seattle, but those didn't mean anything to him anymore. Some cool superpowers meant nothing because in addition he had lost his brother, that only person who he had left. Reggie had always looked out for him, even when he had protested against him and tried to push him away. Reggie had always been there for him despite them fighting and disagreeing about things all the time. Too bad that Delsin had only understood that when it was already too late.
