Raven stumbled out of Beast Boy's bedroom early in the morning, well before anyone else was awake, and carefully tiptoed back down the hall to her own room, making sure no one saw her.
She collapsed onto her own bed, tired, when she heard a small irritated cough from the floor. Her eyes widened as she remembered that Kid Flash and Jinx were staying at the tower for a few days and that Jinx was staying in her room. She just hoped the pinkette hadn't woken up. She slowly sat up and came face to face with a mischievous set of pink eyes.
"And where have you been?" the witch asked hoisting herself onto the empath's bed.
"I went to the kitchen for a cup of tea."
"No you didn't, you woke me up when you left just after midnight, it's now five in the morning, it doesn't take five hours to drink a cup of tea," Jinx said and Raven groaned.
"It's none of your business," she snapped, lying back down.
"How was Beast Boy?"
"What?" Raven asked sitting up straight.
"You heard me, 'How was Beast Boy?'. Cuz I know you went to see someone," she said, what she was implying clear in her voice, "And Starfire and Robin are together so it wouldn't have been either of them. Cyborg is like a big brother to you. Wally, well I'd hope it wasn't Wally because he's taken. It obviously wasn't me and that just leaves Gar."
Raven glared at her, "My love life is none of your concern."
"So ya don't deny it?"
"No," she mumbled blushing and Jinx grinned.
"Well why are you two keeping it a secret?"
"I-I'm not ready to tell people," she shrugged, "It's easier to hide it."
"So it's easier to sneak around at Midnight then to just tell your friends about your being in a relationship?"
Raven nodded, and for the first time Jinx thought she looked her age, a small, nervous seventeen year old. Usually she looked years older than she actually was.
"Hey, I promise I won't tell the others," Jinx said and Raven looked obviously relieved.
"Thank you, w-we will tell them, just not right now," she said, her voice soft.
Jinx nodded, "Try to get some sleep," she said slipping off the bed and into the sleeping bag.
