Crazy Foaming Mouth Guy was lying asleep in bed with his eyes wide open and grin plastered on his face. Inside his head, the birds were chirping and the wind was swaying in the trees. Outside, pandemonium had struck.

"Crazy Foaming Mouth Guy! Crazy Foaming Mouth Guy!" Oyaji, the leader of Kyoshi Island, shouted, running into Foamy's house on the deserted mountain in a terrified panic. "A girl has been taken by the Unagi and only you can save her! Only you!"

Foaming Mouth Guy sat up at once. He wouldn't dare miss his chance to be a hero like the Avatar.

"Only you!" Oyaji repeated, waving his arms about for emphasis that he must hurry and race off to the sea shore.

Foamy nodded in affirmation and hurriedly raced off to the sea shore.

"I must get to the sea shore," Foamy thought to himself, a look of real determination overtaking his features, "I must get there because that girl was taken by the Unagi and she needs me, and I am the only one who can save her. I need to save her like an Avatar would save her. That is exactly what must happen."

Alas, thinking about the Avatar caused poor Crazy Foaming Mouth Guy to do what he does best. After coughing up the foamy substance, he collapsed on the dirt road, tongue dangling, eyes disagreeing on which direction to look.

"Say, Oyaji," said Suki, walking up to the Kyoshi leader, "why is Crazy Foaming Mouth Guy the only one who can save the girl from the Unagi? After all, the warriors and I could easily take care of this small matter, while I'm sure Crazy Foaming Mouth Guy will just turn this into even more of a pickle."

"That is true," Oyaji agreed, "but I have decided that Crazy Foaming Mouth Guy should learn his true purpose: that he is the second Avatar."

Suki's eyes widened. "He is?"

"Well, no," Oyaji admitted, "but maybe if we spoon-feed him a purpose, he'll stop being such a societal outcast and find his place in the world."

Oyaji walked up to Crazy Foaming Mouth Guy.

"Crazy Foaming Mouth Guy! Don't abandon your people!" the old man shouted.

Foamy recovered from his coma immediately and saluted. This time he would not let his inner conflict get in the way of duty. Then he sprinted down to the sea shore.

At the sea shore, the Unagi had a girl in its mouth. The young girl was screaming in terror-stricken fear. Foamy was flabbergasted that the Unagi would do something so unspeakable, but he tried not to think a bout it too much, else he faint again. Instead, he jumped in the water and swam up to the beast, glaring with contempt.

A few minutes of staring later, the Unagi began to feel self-conscious and let the girl go. Foamy took her in his arms and carried her back to shore. The girl was enamored with how awesome he was and she wrapped her arms around his neck. Foamy wasn't sure what to think of this action, so he wrapped both his arms around her neck too and carried her like that back to the beach.

"Hooray! Crazy Foaming Mouth Guy saved the girl from the Unagi!" the Kyoshi islanders cheered, tossing confetti about.

Foamy grinned merrily and handed the girl back to her father.

"How can I ever repay you?" her father asked, tears glistening in his eyes.

Foamy pointed to himself.

"What? You want a hug? Okay!" So everyone in the village gave Foamy a big hug and all was well.

Then Foamy woke up for real and disdainfully knew none of it had actually happened, so he went outside to practice becoming an Avatar. This would mean a lot of training, but Foamy knew he could do it because he believed in himself, the end.

The constant repetition of words like 'sea shore' was on purpose.
