Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
"Ah damn it," Knuckles winced, "not another Rick roll. That's the fifth one today."
Knuckles sighed heavily, and restarted his browser. It had only been half an hour, but already he'd been hit by five Rick rolls, seven places had assured him of his love for mudkips, and he never wanted to see another human do what a man named Goatse had done. April fools day was not kind to Knuckles, and everything had been tricking him. Rouge had got him with a classic bucket of water sat over the door. Sonic had persuaded Knuckles that the Master Emerald was talking to him, and telling him he should be guardian, a trick Sonic only stopped when Knuckles actually handed him the emerald.
"What is it with today anyway? Does everyone suddenly think it's funny to annoy other people?" Knuckles asked.
"Yes," came the reply, which startled Knuckles. Knuckles was alone, he knew this, so the sudden answer made him jump.
"Whose there?" Knuckles cried out. There was no reply. Knuckles asked again, to no avail. He shrugged after a few minutes, assuming he was hearing things. Knuckles went back to what he did best, which according to his computers browser's history, was getting Rick rolled. As the familiar lines of the song ran out, Knuckles seethed in frustration.
"Relax Knuckles," the voice beckoned again, "It's merely a joke, don't let it get to you."
Knuckles turned to the voice, to see no-one. He left his chair, and began searching for the voice, calmly talking to try and find the source. However the voice chose this moment to keep quiet, and allowed Knuckles to dwell in his own temper.
Half an hour passed, and Knuckles found himself hit by over nine thousand various spins on internet jokes and pranks. Knuckles cursed everybody who found this sort of thing funny. Rebooting his entire computer Knuckles could only loo on as t e f mil r s e f Wi w re-s

" 'm s r Kn ck es, jus thou ht t wou d be fu n to try and trick you," Tails said, looking at his feet. He clutched the microphone in one hand.
Knuckles hesitated, and eventually relented. "Would you mind showing me how you made my stuff fly around the room?" he asked, believing he could use this to have some revenge on a few of the people who'd tricked him. Tails nodded, and the pair of them planed working on a way to make a Chaos Emerald fly past a certain bat who'd managed to get both of them hit with the bucket of water over the door trick.
P.S. April Fools
