Hey guys! Nova Star (Yes I changed my name) here! Some of you might of noticed that I re uploaded this story, cause hey, the chapter was really short! Well now it's longer, so I hope you enjoy!

"W-w-where am I?" An 11 year old Edward Elric said, very confused. Wait… "AL!" He screamed, suddenly remembering what had happened. "Hellooo.." A voice said, causing Ed to turn around. Staring back at him was a pure white figure, surrounded by a dull glow of black. "Who are you?" Ed asked the figure, who replied with "Oh, i'm so glad you asked! I am called by many names, the world, the universe, god, the truth, I am all, I am one, but I am also… you" He said, pointing at Ed. Suddenly, a door behind Ed opened, hundreds of black arms reaching out at him as he slowly turned around. "You have dared knock on the door, now, the door is open" Truth said, as the arms grabbed Ed, Pulling him in. He was kicking and screaming, trying desperately to free himself. "Quiet, child. This is what you wanted, isn't it? I will show you… the truth." Ed was pulled into the door, and It snapped shut. What followed next, Ed wasn't quite sure. It was like all the information in the world was being poured directly into his brain, all at once. He felt like his head was going to burst. "No… it's too much. IT'S TOO MUCH! MAKE IT STOOOP!" He pleaded. At that moment it all became clear. And then there was his mother, glowing white, standing before him. "Mum…. NO! MUUUUM!" He screamed, reaching out his hand, but it was too late. He was back in the room with Truth. "So, how was it?" "I- I see now. My theory for human transmutation wasn't wrong. It was just missing something! It IS possible! Let me see it again! Please!" Ed said walking up to the door. "No can do kid. I've already shown you all I can for the price you've paid." P-price, what price?" Ed said worry lacing his voice. "SURELY you knew…" Truth said, getting up. Ed noticed that he had something materialising on his leg. So he looked down and what he saw shook him. His left leg was gone. Truth was now right in front of him. "Equivalent exchange, right little alchemist?!"

Ed was screaming in agony clutching where his leg had once been. "No.. All… he's my little brother…" He said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'll do anything… give him back… take my arm, my leg, heck, even my humanity! Just GIVE HIM BACK!" Ed shouted, now drawing a blood seal on the back on a suit of armour. He clapped, touched the armour, then let out a loud scream, as he felt his right arm being taken. Just when he thought it was over, he felt a sharp pain in his lower back, and then 4 tentacles burst out, and something felt wrong with his eyes. He crawled over to where a mirror had fallen, and picked up a broken shard. He looked at his reflection, and dropped the shard. His whole world seemed to slow down with this new bit of information, for it wasn't his normal reflection staring back at him, it couldn't of been. Those weren't his usual golden eyes, staring back at him, but bright red ones with black sclera, with red veins producing from around his eyes.

"No, no no… this can't be real, this can't be real! DAMN IT! WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME, TRUTH YOU BASTARD!" He was shocked to hear a voice; truths voice talking in a sing-song tone inside his head. "Ahahahahaha! You said I could take your humanity, so I did just that!~" Truth said. Ed suddenly felt his whole world crash down. "I-i-i'm… not… human… anymore…." Ed said falling into the ground. "Yep, from now on, you, Edward Elric, are a ghoul! A creature of the night that feeds on the flesh of humans! You can also drink coffee, so there's than. You have these things in your back called Kagune, and your eyes can become kakugan, the red and black you saw earlier in your reflection. You will also be able to heal extremely fast, but not your arm and leg. I made sure of that. Oh, and I forgot about your enhanced strength, speed and endurance. Have fun~ Bye!" Truth said, leaving a highly shaken Ed. "I'm… A ghoul? Like from those old bedtime stories? Wait. THAT MEANS I HAVE TO EAT PEOPLE! Oh god no please no. NOOO!" Ed screamed, passing out.

Pinako Rockbell was sitting at her dining table, smoking her pipe when she heard a knock on her door. She opened it to see a 6 foot tall suit of armour carrying someone. Wait… That was Ed the man was carrying!

Ed's eyes slowly fluttered open, Gradually adjusting to the light. "Where am I this - wait this is Winry's house! But how did I get here…" Suddenly it clicked. Al. There was a suit of armour hunched over in the corner; the same one from his dads study. "A-Al… Is it… Is it you in there?" Ed asked the armour, which looked up at him and gasped. "Brother… YOU'RE FINALLY AWAKE! I WAS SO WORRIED!" The armo- no AL said. "So my transmutation worked… How are you feeling?" "How am I feeling? How are YOU feeling brother, you're missing an arm and a leg!" Ed realised that he couldn't feel his right arm or left leg, and his eyes widened as he remembered what had happened. But what about "My eyes... " Ed said to himself. "Al, is there anything wrong with my eyes!?" Ed asked, worried they were still black and red like before. Al chuckled lightly before saying "No brother, why do you think that there might be something wrong with your eyes?" Ed sighed with relief. "Haha, no reason. Now is there any food around here, i'm starving!" Ed replied in his usual cheery voice. "Oh, right. You must be very hungry. I should go let granny know that you've woken up. Ahah~ I'll be right back!" Al said, waving as he left the room.

I'm really hungry, but… what am I hungry FOR? Ed thought, remembering the conversation he had with that bastard truth. Remembered that truth said that now he could only… only eat… people. Oh god. Oh god I can't do this! I can't eat another human, I could never! I'll just have to starve! He heard the sound of somebody, probably Winry, screaming "EEEEEDWAAAAARD!" knocked him out of his train of thought, as he was latched onto by a girl. "Thank god you're ok, we thought for sure you'd be…" She stopped herself from saying 'dead'. "Well.. anyway, Al said that you were hungry, so I brought you up a sandwich. "Enjoy!" Winry said, handing him a plate. Edward almost gagged at the smell but nevertheless said thanks and took the plate from her. He looked up at winry, and then said "Do you mind leaving me alone for a bit? I just… need some time to myself." She looked at him understandably, nodding and leaving the room.

Now that he was by himself, he picked up the sandwich, slowly bringing it to his mouth while trying to ignore the putrid smell the thing was giving off. Slowly, he bit down on it. He wasn't even close to prepared for the flood of horrible flavor that was invading his mouth. "Ugh, gross! What is on this thing!" He exclaimed, spitting out the sandwich. "Hm, it's just like I thought." Said Pinako's voice from the table. Ed was shocked; he hadn't noticed her sitting there. "Oh, aha… Hey granny, whatcha doing?" She got up and walked over to where Ed was laying, closing the door on her way. She stopped, right near Ed. "Is it true, Edward?" "I-Is what true, Granny? What are you talking about?" Ed was getting scared now, had Granny always been this intimidating? "Is it true that you are a Ghoul, Edward?" Ed looked down and started shaking. "H-how did you know? Was it the sandwich?" Ed asked, his voice shaking. "Oh no, while you were unconscious, you opened your eyes. I assume you know what I saw." Pinako said. But if Granny knew, what about… "Al and Winry! Do… do they know too?" "No, not unless you want to tell them" Pinako said, raising her eyebrow. "NO! No, they can't find out. It would tear them apart, especially Al." Ed said, suddenly turning serious. "Hm, yes, I understand. Very well then." Ed sighed a sigh of relief. "Well, in that case, i'll be off. See you, Edward." Ed nodded, saying his goodbyes to Granny Pinako. Suddenly, his stomach growled. Oh no… Ed thought, clutching his belly. He had already discovered that he couldn't eat normal food, so that meant… that meant that he had to… had to eat human. Ed covered his mouth as a choked sob came out, he was only 11! He couldn't kill and eat people! But what else could he do? I wasn't like you could buy arms or legs at the supermarket! I guess I have no choice… i'll have to sneak out and get some food. But how? I'm missing an arm and a leg! I guess I could as granny to give me a prosthetic just for now so I can at least move around. Well it's settled then. Ed thought. Tonight, i'll find myself a meal.

It was night time now, and everyone (except Al) was asleep. Ed had a temporary prosthetic on, and he was quickly getting the hang of it, all while mentally preparing himself for what he was about to do. He had told himself that if he didn't, he would die, leaving Al all by himself, trapped in that armour for eternity. He quietly made his way through the house and out the front door. He walked down the driveway, hoping that he bumped into someone soon. He was only out for a few minutes before he saw a man in the distance. Oh god. This is it. I'm going to have to kill that poor man. Ed felt something running down his face. Tears. He took a deep breath, before walking up to the man. "Huh? Oh, hey there kid you lost or something?" The man said, kneeling down so he was almost at eye level with Ed. "Woah, buddy, why are you crying?" Ed was looking down. "Hungry…" Ed said. "So… HUNGRY!" Ed yelled, finally looking up at the man. The man backed away in fear at the sight of four steely silver tentacles coming out from behind the boy. "G-get back! Monster!" That was all he could say before one of the silver limbs penetrated him through the chest, his life being drained until it was no more.

The body fell to the ground, limbs falling limp. Ed just stared. Oh my god. I did it! I… I killed him… "OH MY GOD I KILLED HIM! WHAT HAVE I DONE!" Ed screamed, clutching his face with his hands, his kagune retreating back into his back. Ed's breathing was fast. He walked over to the corpse; it smelt… delicious! Like his mum's cooking! Wait! I can't… eat it here. I'll have to go someplace else. And with that, he dragged the body away, using his kagune to pull it, going down by the river where he was certain there would be no other people. He dropped it, kagune retreating yet again, before slowly walking over to where he had dropped the body. He felt the change in his eyes, before pouncing and tearing into the flesh, having his first meal in what felt like weeks. By the time he was done, all that was left where the bones and smears of blood. He dig out a shallow grave, using his kagune, which were significantly stronger than before. He placed the bones in the hole he just dug, and put the dirt back on top. He started making his way back to the house, his stomach full of food and his heart guilt.

Even though it's 4 pages on Google Docs, doesn't mean it's much on here. Haha. See ya!~
