Plotline: Bobby knew he should have just said no when Alex asked him to step in as Easter Bunny, but now it was too late. Takes place in the universe of my multichapter fics, but is a much cheerier little volume

Inspiration: Just trying to spread Easter cheer. Admit it, this would just be too cute, even if they don't really do fluffy well.

Warning: Extreme strangess with a couple we all love.

Disclaimer: Not mine, I would definitely force Bobby to shave the beard if it was, it makes him look like my dad which totally kills the crush I used to have on him (Bobby, not my father O_O)

"C'mon sweetie, it won't be that bad." Alex cooed. Bobby shifted uncomfortably. He already had the body suit with the white cotton tail on and Alex was holding the head which completed the Easter bunny ensemble. He was trying to avoid putting it on for as long as possible.

"How did I let you talk me into this?" he grumbled.

She tried on her most fetching smile, "Because I'm your wife and you love me, as well as we both want our daughter to have the perfect Easter."

Olivia, their daughter was now two years old, she had curly blonde hair and big brown eyes. Bobby doubted at that age she would even remember the Easter. However, when Alex's older brother Keith, the usual Easter bunny had suddenly needed an appendectomy two days before Easter, Alex had volunteered him.

"It won't be so bad," she repeated.

"You're not the one who has to wear the bunny suit." he countered.

"Well, if I were taller..."

Their eyes locked in a silent battle which was interrupted by Liz yelling, "What are you two doing in there? We need our bunny!"

Alex sighed and leaned in to hand Bobby the head before whispering, "If it makes you feel any better, when I was a junior in highschool Liz volunteered me to be a leprechaun for a classroom of preschoolers, and she did not ask my permission."

He chuckled and she swatted him on the arm playfully before handing him the bunny head which he put on. "Now go put on a show for the kids." she grinned.

Liz was waiting in the living room with Olivia. Olivia sqeuled cheerfully, "Bunny."

Both parents attempted to exchange happy looks, or at least Alex assumed Bobby's expression mirrored hers, it was hard to tell. However, their daughter always cheered both of them up.

"That's right," Alex took her daughter from her sister, "It's a bunny."

"Where's Daddy?" the little girl asked.

That question would prove trickier, "He's probably helping the other grownups with something." Alex answered. Luckily this satisfied the little girl, after the events of the previous summer, she was rarely far from both parents. This was no exception, but Liz would have a cow if they "ruined" Easter.

"C'mon, let's take Mr. Bunny to see the other little kiddies." Liz said far too cheerfully.

"Oh brother," Alex mumbled rolling her eyes, which earned a glare from her sister.

The younger nieces and nephews immediately bombarded Bobby.

"How's Uncle Bob holding up in there?" Keith's oldest, Melody, who was sixteen pulled Alex aside. She'd known right away who the replacement bunny was but tried to keep it secret in an attempt to be civil to her siblings, the youngest of which still believed and more likely to avoid getting yelled at by Liz.

"He's miserable," Alex grinned absently smoothing Olivia's Easter dress.

"Too bad, but this is still going in the family scrapbook." Melody laughed.

"I'd hope so." Alex yelled as her niece took off to get the camera.

Cute, not cute? When I mention the events of the previous summer, I'm talking about my story, Not Our Baby.
