Jez Redfern walked through the door of the mansion. The chandelier was throwing light into all of the mirrors making the foyer seem to sparkle. A wide, circular staircase led to the second floor bedrooms. Paintings of brilliant colors lined the walls. Lord Thierry tries to make them all as comfortable as possible in his house. Jez liked the grandness of it, completely different than what she grew up with.
Walking further into the house, she passed the game/media room, a kitchen, the meeting room, and Thierry's office. Finally, she reached the living room where everyone was hanging out. Rashel and Keller laughing by the fireplace, Ash and Quinn debating over which of them was better looking. Poppy, Gillian, and Lady Hannah were painting their nails bright colors. Lord Thierry had a newspaper and was sipping out of a mug. Galen and Morgead were seated on the couch.
Jez smiled and caught Morgead's eye. He smiled back, his green eyes sparkling. She missed him even if she just went out for a few hours to train. Delos, Illiana, and herself had spent the last three months trying to make themselves better et controlling the blue-fire. They didn't want to be rendered useless when the Apocalypse came.
"Come here, Jez." Her soul mate called. Galen got up and made room for her on the couch. "I missed you." She whispered to Morgead. He brought her closer and Jez breathed in his scent. Finally she felt happy again. No thoughts of the Apocalypse, the fate of everything resting in her hands. She only thought of how much she loved him. Her soul mate, the love of her life.
They broke apart reluctantly. Both had huge, goofy grins on their faces. Then Jez was brought back to reality. She might not have much time left with Morgead. She was a Wild Power after all. Jez knew she should be happy and enjoy these moments, but she wanted them to last. And if something happened to him, well she wouldn't mind if she died. It would be a welcome relief.
"Don't leave me, Morgead. I can't live without you." Jez told him. Her heart hurt to just think about living without Morgead. Even when they were children she needed him and when they fought she still loved him, deep down.
"What? Jez I will never leave you. I love you so much, you're my soul mate." Morgead told her. She believed him. As long as she had Morgead, she wouldn't be alone.
A/N: Just something I came up with in Study Hall one day. Hope you liked it! I know it was kinda short, but I wanted to show their love for each other…
