Summary: What if Aria was A- but not along with Ezra? How will he react when he finds out- or IF he finds out? Will their identities stay a secret?
Aria's POV
She thought hard about what to add to the text. It seemed perfect, but she needed it to double as an alibi for her this weekend. She had to put her idea in motion, and the events planned for Saturday could definitely use a little chaos.
Her thumbs danced above the keyboard as she pondered about the perfect words, the ones that would cut the deepest. An idea sprung into her head and she got to work. Afterwards, she admired her handiwork proudly.
Oh Hanna, be a dear and mail Aria's daddy this lovely note on how unavailable 'Fitzy' is and why? I'm sure you'll LOVE the infamy! If you don't, then I'm sure you'll love this neat little police report I filled out for a Mrs. Marin!
Mwah!

Attached, was a photoshopped image of a fake police report with 'Ashley Marin' scrawled across the top, and 'Theft' written beside as the cause of the report. Tapping the send button with her manicured pinky finger, Aria pushed herself off the stool she was sitting in and shoved it against one of the cabinets. As she climbed on top of it and opened an unused cupboard door, she sighed in relief that she was so small. It helped her get into places that others usually couldn't reach, and it helped her do it fast.
After depositing the nondescript Blackberry inside the dusty cabinet and returning everything back to it's original spot, she decided to change and fix a sandwich since she was expecting company soon. She ran through her empty house quickly, and when she got to her drawers she ended up picking a purposely faded grey sweatshirt that read 'I Do It Better' across the front and a pair of black plain leggings. She slipped the sweatshirt over her head, pulled her dark brunette tresses into an artfully messy bun, and sauntered downstairs.
The silence seemed to echo through the dim rooms, so Aria walked over to her iPod deck and set her music on shuffle. Soon a familiar tune caught her ears and she found herself humming along to it.
It's a cold and crazy world,
That's ragin' outside,
Oh and baby me and all my girls,
Are bringin' on a fight,
Show a little leg,
Gotta shimmy your chest,
It's a life,
It's a style,
It's Burlesque...

Been holding back for,
Quite some time,
And finally the moment's right,
I love to make the people stare,
They know I got that Southward flair...
Aria paused her singing and sandwich-making when she heard the doorbell ring once, twice, then finally three times. She reached the door and swung it open, letting the music continue playing in the background.
"Took you long enough." The figure complained, pushing lightly past her and pulling down the hood of their black hoodie.
Aria laughed a little nervously. "Nice to see you too. Want anything to eat?"
"I'm starved!" The girl yelled back, already in the kitchen area.
"Good." Aria chuckled thinly, joining her. "This song's got to get you in the mood, huh?"
"Right." The girl answered, eyeing the half-made sandwich on the counter.
Aria gave another laugh. "I think I know what you wanna eat. Do you like cold cuts, Alison?"
"Totally." Ali answered, her blue eyes glowing and her blonde hair slightly frizzy. "So what's going down Saturday?"
AN/ So what did you think? How'd I do? This is my first fanfiction, and yes this IS an Ezria fanfic, just there isn't any Ezria in the first chapter, sorry.
But please tell me how I did other wise! :)
Also, the song used is 'Express' from Burlesque and it's sung by Christina Aguilera- it's an awesome song!
