This is a one-shot that just kinda came to me and I just had to write it down.

" Remind me again why you chose grey," Chase said, backing up away from the wall to stare at the now grey patched wall of his girlfriend's apartment.

" I don't know, I told you that already," I said. I backed up to stand next to him. " It seemed like a nice color in the store." It had really. In the store on that small piece of paper. I guess painting a whole wall that color, not so great an idea.

" Just being honest, but that color looks terrible," Chase criticized. Sure it wasn't his apartment, but he already practically lived there. I still wonder why I didn't just invite him to live there, would have saved us a lot of time.

" Yeah, you're right," I admitted unhappily. I looked down to the half full can of paint, an amazing idea suddenly coming to mind.

" I wonder..." I pondered out loud, dipping my fingers into the can of paint. " If the paint would look any better on you?"His eyes suddenly widened as I flicked the paint on him, little dots appearing on his shirt.

" Oh Rory, you asked for it," he said, dipping his paint brush in the can and swirling it around to collect the maximum amount of paint to collect on the brush. He pulled it out as I watched in horror from my hiding place behind the couch. His paint brush dripped a little as he got in flicking position. In one quick, swift motion, I was covered in wet paint.

I sprinted back to the paint can and submerged both my hands into the paint. I swirled my hands in the paint.

" Now I wonder how you would look with grey hair?" Chase ran for cover, cowering behind the counter. I sprinted after him, my hands dripping wet paint all over the floor. I was suddenly very glad that we had spent the extra 20 minutes covering everything with the clear plastic tarps.

" Rory, let's ask ourselves a question." Chase said nervously. " Do I really deserve this," He was attempting to sound innocent. We now stood only a few feet from one another, only separated by a plastic covered couch.

" Fine, I won't paint your hair," I said, pretending to be defeated.

He cautiously walked towards me. Before I could do anything else, he grabbed both of my wrists. He pulled me in for a kiss. His grip loosened slightly and I was able to pull one of my paint covered wrists, free. I was able to get some of his shirt wet with paint before he regained control over my wrists. We broke apart no more than a minute later, both in need for oxygen.

" So do you think we should change the paint color. Chase grinned before pulling me in for another kiss.

Okay, so I know that that was really short and I'm sorry! I hope you liked it anyways! Remember to review because I really love any feed back! Thanks for reading!
