Blood… so much blood. The whispers in head echoed loudly as he tried to bring his other self under control.

Do it boy, finish it, finish her, watch the spark fade from her eyes, her life snuff out by your hand. You know you want to.

'Do I?'

He didn't know anymore. He couldn't think. His mind was full of jumbled thoughts, flashes of bloodied eyes that matched his hair, bright smiles, blonde and pink, and blood, so much blood. Her's, washed over his hands. He couldn't stop it. He'd tried, so selfishly he'd tried. He didn't think he could face empty blue eyes and broken smiles. Yet now as he looked into dull green, he knew, when he heard the gasps from her cracked pink lips, he knew. He didn't want to know, he didn't want to feel his heart cracking into a thousand tiny shards, each piece falling into black despair.

She saw through the hazy mist, he was struggling, breaking, shattering. She couldn't let that happen. Not after everything. Not now. Not when she had taken every sharp splinter of his heart, held them in her hands and placed each piece back where it belonged. She tried to speak, to reach for him, anything to show him it wasn't his fault, but it was futile. It only resulted in more pain and a hacking cough. Spluttering blood onto his face. When she felt the darkness pull her further down, the last thing she saw was ruby teardrops making their way down porcelain skin.

He watched as she fell unconscious, her pink eyelashes dusting her cheeks when her eyelids drifted shut. He felt the guilt, he felt the pain, but while he listened to her shallow breaths he began to feel fury. An intense burning anger that was consuming him. Where was the help? Where was the respite? Would they ever have the chance to be happy?

He knew this wasn't his fault. He was sure of it.

Are you? The velvety voice taunted.

'Yes' he snarled in his mind 'this is him'.

Dark hair and pale skin flashed through his mind. Then for the first time in hours the silence surrounding them was broken. He heard hurried footsteps and frantic voices. His body relaxed when he realised this was it, they were here, they could help and when help crashed through the very door that kept them in, a blur of blue, blonde and orange, he saw the rage rising in his blood brothers eyes. He knew then some things he did want to know; there was a chance now, she could be ok and… and the one who did this could never hope to hide from what is coming.

With that thought a smirk crept onto his face and he abandoned this place of pain.

A/N: So here it is! My attempt at a fanfic xD I'm sorry for the shortness, but it is a prologue. I know this chapter is confusing, but i'm experimenting with new styles and I kinda like how this turned out. Most of the confusing stuff will be explained in later chapters, also in this chapter the POV jumps around alot. Anywho please review! I wanna know how the no name thing worked out.

Actual love
