A/N I suddenly felt like making this. The song is "When you say nothing at all" by Alison Krauss. Enjoy!

I excitedly ran to the kendo club. Today I was getting special lessons from the best guy there.

"Hi, sorry I'm late!" He raised his head and looked at me.

"Get ready." I immediately started putting on all the protective gear. It had been a year since I started dating Mori. It was hard at first, because he was always near Hunny, or practicing kendo. So I recklessly signed up for kendo.

Getting into position, I stood steadily. My ears were still ringing from my iPod, which I had turned up full volume. As he turned my body into the correct position, I smiled.

"This is the closest thing we have as dates, isn't it?"

"Ah." I practiced swinging and hitting. The song I was listening to started to trickle into my head.

It's amazing how you can speak right to my heart

Without saying a word you can light up the dark

"This way." He led me to a dummy which I was supposed to practice on.

Try as I may I could never explain

What I hear when you say nothing at all

Doing some example strokes, he showed where to hit. I swung in vain, only to hit nowhere near the mark. I looked up at him, biting my lip. He had on a small smile, as if he was laughing.

The smile on your face lets me know that you need me

There's a truth in your eyes saying you'll never leave me

After a few more tries, I was tired. Putting in all my strength, I hit the mark right on, but the rebound force made me fall backwards. I felt a hand keep me from falling and he helped me straighten up.

The touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall

Smiling, I thank him. He nods.

You say it best, when you say nothing at all

"It's time." He says. I look at the clock. It's been an hour already. Shedding the protective gear, I sigh.

All day long I can hear people talking out loud

But when you hold me near, you drown out the crowd

I rose up to hug him. He embraced me, and I felt like I was covered in some kind of huge blanket. We stayed like that for a long time.

Old Mr. Webster could never define

What's being said between your heart and mine

Reluctantly letting go, I smile sadly. "Thanks for the lesson. I'll be back next week." He nodded.

The smile on your face lets me know that you need me

There's a truth in your eyes saying you'll never leave me

The touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall

"Wait." He stops me from leaving by pulling me into his arms again and giving me a soft kiss. I close my eyes and my heart thumps.

You say it best when you say nothing at all
