All man is her enemy,
As proclaimed by the first,
The god that made known,
Terrible hunger and thirst.
Who laughed at her suffering,
And who branded her skin,
And made her even less,
Than her human kin.
Used for entertainment,
Given the Mero-Mero no Mi,
There was no way out,
No hope to be free.
They couldn't even laugh,
They couldn't even cry,
Their only happiness,
Would be to simply die.
He did unthinkable things,
To her sisters and her,
Until one lone Fishman,
Made Mariejois burn.
Then they finally escaped,
And made it back home,
And any man who stood in their way,
Was immediately turned to stone.
Her old life was restored,
He sisters safe and sound,
The mark concealed with a lie,
Then as empress she was crowned.
She protected her country,
Her sisters and crew,
With a Warlord position,
And her devil fruit too.
She was the most beautiful woman,
Survivors soon agreed,
Though her appearance,
Is nothing to mislead.
For, any unfortunate male,
Whom her eyes came to meet,
To be able to even move,
Would be an incredible feat.
That is until she met a man,
Who was immune to her power,
Who in the face of those gods,
He didn't even cower.
His handsome and masculine figure,
The sparkles in his eyes,
His dashing personality,
Humorous, clever and wise.
His kind romantic words,
She clung to everything he said,
Though really these things,
We're all made up in her head.
She was suddenly struck ill,
Her mind filled with hearts and doves,
A terrible deadly sickness,
She was struck down with love.
