LANCASTER, PENNSYLVANIA
"Maybe California might be exciting; you might see a movie star somewhere." Samantha Rowland told her best friend, Carolina Valeria.
To tell you the truth, fifteen-year-old Carolina wasn't excited at all to move from her cozy, quaint town of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to live with her vain, self centered, gold digging step mom, Mary-Ha. She knew that the move totally sucked, and that Sam had only tried to make her feel better than she did, which was impossible. Her plane was leaving in an hour, and the Rowland's were taking Carolina, her sister Carissa, and their older brother Owen, to Los Angeles to where their father was already honeymooning it up in the cozy little apartment she owned. It's not like she didn't love California and everything, she just didn't trust her freaking gold digging step mom. I mean really, what kind of a name is Mary-Ha?
"And trust me, you'll find other guys! Think of it as a chance to start over!" Sam said enthusiastically. Neither of them mentioned that Carolina was going to have to start over in everything: friends, sports, a new life, and so on.
"Mr. Rowland! I'm ready!" Nine-year-old Carissa called loudly, holding her suitcase, and clutching her brown, fuzzy teddy bear that Mom had gotten her four years ago, when Carissa was in the hospital for her bronchitis.
Mr. Rowland was driving the four of them to the airport, because all of their family members weren't there, they were on vacation. "So is I. Ready to start life…anew." Her eighteen year old brother, Owen, stated dramatically. Carolina didn't even bother to correct him on his way horrible English.
"CARO! Are you ready?" Carissa asked, her eyes lighting up. Like Carolina, she had dark, brown eyes that looked black from a distance, and creamy, tan skin. She was the cutest nine year old that you'd ever see, but her innocent look was just an act, and Carolina and Owen knew it.
"Yeah, I'm ready." Carolina said quietly, wishing her father never divorced their mother, cancer had never attacked her mother, and he had to marry a twenty-something year old. She miserably walked into the Rowlandses old, homey, Toyota, and shut the door
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
"Nicky, I want more cheese though!" Miley Stewart droned, fanning out her long, brown hair dramatically around her pretty, round face. 'Get it your damn self!' Nick Lucas thought irritably, nevertheless going into the fridge and getting his girlfriend of six months more cheese. It wasn't that he didn't love Miley, he did, he was supposed to, right? Anyways, what he really liked was Selena Russo. Her dark, black hair, her dreamy black eyes. She was so unlike Miley and different, that he almost considered dumping Miley for her. His seventeen-year-old brother, Joe, stood by the firehouse pole, shaking his head. It was clear that he didn't like Miley at all, not at all. He was just jealous because Camilla Belle had recently cheated on him with that kid from the movieshe just did, push.
THIS IS JUST A PREVIEW. If you want me to continue with the full story, then I need at least 10 reviews. I'm going to make Nick and Joe fall for Carolina, Miley try to screw her over, and Selena and Demi be friends with her, then betrayed. Look at my profile for what Carolina looks like. 3
