Shot: Here's another Lion King/Newsies songfic for y'all. This is gonna be the last one considering I did just about every song on the soundtrack. After this I'm gonna start on a new series of songfics. I'm not sure what CD or soundtrack I'm going to use yet. Leave a suggestion in your review and if I have the CD or soundtrack and I like it then I'll do it and dedicate it to you. Thanks and here's the last Lion King/Newsies songfic.

Disclaimer: I would like to own Max in his Timon outfit but I don't. Just like I don't own Newsies or Lion King. I do however own Locke, but if you wanna use him, just ask and I'll let you. I also own anyone you don't recognize from the movie.

Spot and Locke stood at the front of the line at the DO. Suddenly a tall boy with brown hair ran to the front. He stopped in front of Spot and waited to be greeted. Spot turned towards the boy, "Hiya Package. How's it rolling?"

Package nodded, "Good Spot."

Spot pointed at Package, "Locke, this is Package, my most faithful bird. You see I have birds in every district and they all report to Package. Package then gives the news to me. So what have you got for me?"

Package nodded, "You know, it's an honor and a privilege, a duty I perform with due sense of decorum and with pride. With deference and great respect very much the norm, plus a hint of sycophancy on the side. To lay before my leader all the facts about New York, to fill him in on all the beastly news."

Spot rolled his eyes and spoke to Locke, "If you can't tell, Package had gone to school before becoming a newsie," he turned to Package, "I don't understand a thing you just said. Just get on with the report."

Package continued on without hearing Spot, "In order that Spot stands sturdy at the helm aware of all the fauna's latest views."

Spot nearly screamed, "Package, the report."

Package bit his lip, "Sorry Spot. Umm right the report. Let's see Lower Manhattan is going nuts, but Jack remains above it all. Midtown remembered that umm, I can't recall. Crocodile is snapping up all the new newsies and then showed interest in my change but I quickly said no thanks. Let's see we haven't paid East Side back from the poker game and Vulture has a hunch that if we go to battle not everyone will be coming back.

Spot stopped paying attention to Package and looked at Locke, who had his slingshot out. It was aimed at Package's head. Package didn't see because he was staring at the sky trying to remember everything. Spot whispered, "Locke, what are you doing?"

Locke looked at Spot, "Aiming."

Spot laughed and pulled out his slingshot, "Let an old pro show ya how it's done."

Package not paying attention to Spot and Locke continue on, "Queens has a beef about this new headline writer."

Spot whispered, "Stay in the shadows."

Locke nodded, "Yeah in the shadows."

Package continued unfazed, "Harlem has been thwarted in attempts to save their ass. Bronx is in the clear and fooling around playing poker. Blue is this summer's color and is seen in all the LH's. Moving down the line, to near the bottom rung."

Spot pulled back the band and let a marble fly at Package's head.

Package finished off, "There are far too many newsies in the Bowery LH. OWW."

Spot and Locke stood bit their lips trying not to laugh out loud. Spot finally regained himself enough to speak, "Is that it Package?"

Package nodded, "Yes Spot that's it for the morning report. I'm gonna go get my papes now."

Spot and Locke walked off, to go sell, laughing the whole way to their spot.

Shot: Ah that was fun to write. Like I said at the beginning, leave in your review what CD, song or soundtrack you want me to do next. Bye now.
