Nico punched the wall of the cabin.

"Idiot!"

He knew it was pointless, but he could get over what he was feeling. Of all the people, why him? The though kept going through his mind.

"He's got her. Why would he even look at me?"

There was a knock at the door, but Nico didn't want to answer it. No one knew he was here, so why would anyone be knocking? There was another knock. Nico was thinking of telling the person to go away, when there came a voice.

"Nico? It's Percy, I know you're back. Open up."

Nico didn't move. He didn't want to talk to anyone, let alone Percy. He had hated him for so many years, he didn't even know when his hate turn to...

"Nico..."

Nico jumped when he realized that Percy was now in his room. Percy had jumped back, hand to his pocket.

"Sorry Neeks, if I knew you were asleep..."
"I wasn't asleep..."

He said the words with as much hate as he could muster up. Percy didn't seem to notice anything.

"Nico, I..."
"I don't want to talk..."
"I know you like me."

Nico just looked at Percy. How could he know? He hadn't told anyone. Percy closed the door and looked around. There wasn't much in the cabin, but there was a desk with a chair. Percy sat in the chair, just looking at Nico.

"Nico..."
"How? How do you..."
"I've noticed when you look at me..."

Percy looked down. Nico looked over and saw that there was a hint of pink on Percy's face. Nico moved so that he was sitting on the end on the bed.

"You've noticed when I look at you..."

Nico saw Percy's face go even more pink. Could he really be blushing? Nico said the line again and again, watching Percy's face go from pink to red.

"Perce, you are really red. What do you want to tell me?"
"I've noticed you..."
"Yeah, I look at you... You're nice to look at..."
"Yeah, you too..."

Percy looked up at Nico, who was too shock to say anything. Percy moved closer to Nico, so that they were at arms length of each other. Nico tried to back up, but with the wall behind him, there wasn't much he could go.

"Um, Perce..."
"Annabeth and I broke up... Don't. We've been distant for a while now..."

Nico just looked at his lap. When I saw them, was that them breaking up? Percy took Nico's hand and held it.

"Can I try something?"

Nico just nodded. Percy moved closer until his face was right by Nico's. He stopped for a second, but a second was all Nico needed. Nico moved in closer, so that their noses were almost touching.

"Are you sure?"
"Yes."

Percy made the finally move. He kissed Nico, and Nico was kissing him back. Percy pulled away, but Nico wanted more.

"I think I made the right call."

And Percy kissed Nico again. This time it was longer and deeper. Nico was the one to break it off that time.

"Who do you think will take it the worst?"
"No one. I think everyone we know likes us enough not to judge us by who we like romantically."
"We don't have to say anything right now, do we?"
"Not until you're ready."

Percy spent the rest of the day with Nico. They talked and just hung out, like the friends and lovers they were.
