Luna was spending her Christmas at Hogwarts, along with many other seventh years, including her one and only, Draco Malfoy. She knew it was wrong to be so in love with the boy, as she was a Ravenclaw and he was a Slytherin, but she just couldn't help the way she felt. Although she was sure he felt the same way, the 2 were complete opposites. Luna was a bit loopy, and Draco was a death eater. She spent a lot of time in the down by the forbidden forest, with the animals.

Lately, she had been trying to think of a way to approach him. Many things crossed her mind. She couldnt just up and approach a Slytherin. He would probably look at her like she was a fool. Once she got up the guts to do that she had to make sure she could actually speak a full sentence around him, without tripping all over herself.

She decided to approach him in Hogsmeade as their wouldn't be as many Slytherins gathered around him. As soon as the Hogwarts carriages left she began getting a bit fidgety, knowing what she was about to do. When they got there, she was briskly walking trying to find him without falling over something like her own foot.

She found him down by the shrieking shack, throwing stones over the old riggity fence. She coughed to announce her presence. Draco turned, looking straight at her. This was it.
"H-Hey Draco." Luna finally blurted out. "Oh Hi Luna." Draco replied, sounding all too eager to see her. "I've been meaning to ask you something," she said. "Oh really?" he said, "Me too." Draco set down his loose rocks and took a seat on a large boulder, motioning for Luna to join him. She slowly made her way to take a seat next to him, her stomach filling with butterflies. "I was wondering if maybe, you'd like to go out sometime?" Luna asked, "Maybe next trip to Hogsmeade?" Draco looked at her with a smile. "I would love that," he replied.
