Holly made her way through the crowds of students after the first quidditch game of the season. Slytherin had beaten Gryffindor at a whopping total of 210 to 10. She fought her way through the large crowd of celebrating Slytherins, looking for a specific person. She finally got into the common room and was blasted by a loud burst of noise. The Slytherins were ecstatic to have won and were celebrating full on. There were students cheering, still celebrating their epic win, but Holly was only looking for one person. She pushed her brown hair out of her cerulean eyes as they scanned the room. Then she found him. Draco was surrounded by his quidditch team who were all clapping him on the back and congratulating him on catching the snitch. Holly then proceeded to shove her way past the students until she reached Draco, her cheeks flushed and rather breathless from the vigorous battle to reach Draco. She tentatively tapped him on the shoulder but it took a good hit on the arm to get his attention. He turned to face her, practically glowing.
What s up, Holly? he shouted over the loud celebrating. It took Holly a few moments to find her voice again.
I just wanted to congratulate you on the win. She called over the crowd, her voice an octave higher than normal and rather nervous. Draco grinned at her.
Thanks. It s just a day for new things I guess. He laughed, pushing his blond fringe out of his eyes. Holly blushed and nodded, looking at the ground for a moment before looking back up at him, gathering her courage to ask him the question she d been wanting to ask for a while.
Draco, do you maybe want to go to Hogsmeade together sometime- Draco must ve guessed what she was going to ask because he grabbed her around the waist and planted a deep kiss onto her lips. Everything seemed to freeze in place, leaving only them. The magical moment lasted a couple of seconds before Draco broke away, a grin on his lips.
I ll pick you up before the next trip. He promised before he was pulled away into the crowd, Holly behind him blushing bright red and absolutely delighted. She finally had a date with him.
