"Hiei, maybe it's time for you to go to bed?"
Kurama watched as said fire demon continued to stare at the TV in front of him. The flashing pictures reflected in Hiei's eyes, and he didn't even acknowledge the redhead speaking to him.
The fox sighed, waving his hand in front of the smaller demon's face. Crimson eyes blinked a few times, the glassy appearance vanishing.
"Hn?"
"It's 1:45 in the morning. You really should get some sleep."
"Hn," with that, Hiei turned back to his new-found obsession. "I'll go to bed as soon as this is over."
Kurama looked to the television, observing what the fire demon was so engrossed in. There was a strange girl with fiery hair playing chess. The fox noted a small logo in the right hand corner, [adult swim].
"So," Kurama began with a smile. "You're into anime now?"
The taller demon continued to watch the strange happenings before him when Hiei didn't answer.
"What's this show called? Bebop something?"
"Cowboy Bebop," the raven-haired one answered shortly. "It will be over at 2. Silence until then, fox."
Kurama sighed again, and glanced at the clock: 1:54.
"I knew I shouldn't have introduced you to cable."
The redhead was silent as he watched the last few minutes of the cartoon.
"That was interesting."
There was no reply as Hiei rose, not even bothering to hit the 'off' button on the remote. The koorime tiredly made his way up the stairs.
"Oyasumi nasai, Hiei."
Silence. Kurama returned his attention to the screen in time to see that this [adult swim] was over. The clock chimes sounded, indicating it was 2 AM. The fox hit the power on the TV, switched off the lights, and retreated after Hiei.
~FIN~
Any yaoi or shounen-ai implications are not of my own doing. It's your own imagination. I wrote this while I was watching Cowboy Bebop on [adult swim] Thursday night (or, Friday morning to be technical). Just my boredom, tiredness and love for writing taking over ^_^
