Ginny Weasley wasn't sure why she was here. Or even how she got here. All she did was let her feet guide her towards any destination. Ginny sighed and ran her hand threw her auburn hair. The fifteen-year old was at the Astronomy Tower looking down at the ground wandering if she should jump or not. Even though it had been four years, Ginny could still hear Tom whispering in her ear, telling her what to do. And she knew as long as she lived, Tom would still be there. Ginny took a deep breath and put her hands on the cold metal rail in front of her. She looked around to see if anyone was coming for a few seconds before swinging her leg over. Again, she looked around and saw no one, so there went the other leg. Ginny stood there for a few minuets trying to talk herself out of it. 'Mom and Dad will think it was their fault. Fred and George would blame themselves. Bill, Charlie, and Percy would think that if only they spent more time with me, I wouldn't have done. Neville and Luna would be so devastated. Probably so would Hermione and Ron. Maybe even-'
"You'll regret it you know." A girl's voice said ripping Ginny from her thoughts. Ginny looked back to see the girl. She was short, pale-skinned, shoulder-length chocolate brown hair, and looked about a year younger than Ginny herself. But the most-striking feature, the girl had, was her bright green eyes. 'They were even brighter then Harry's' Ginny mused.
The girl stared at her before continuing speaking, "I've been there. In that same position, in fact. It is not worth it. You may not value your own life, but I bet there are a lot people who do."
"Who are you?" Ginny asked, hardly speaking above a whisper.
"I'll tell you, if you will get down from there." The girl replied. Ginny did not respond, but she did what she was told. After, she gave the girl a pointed look. "My name is Astoria and I'm guessing you're Ginny Weasley?" Ginny nodded. "Well, are you still going to kill yourself now?" Ginny shook her head as an answer. "Good. But, as it is nearing curfew, I'm heading back to my dorm. Would you like to accompany me?" Ginny shook her head again. "Alright, goodbye then." Astoria made her way to exit the tower.
"Why?" Ginny questioned stopping the green-eyed girl.
"Why, what?" Astoria asked turning around to face the red-haired girl.
"Why did you stop me?" Ginny explained.
Astoria looked quite taken back before smiling a very sad smile. "Because if that was me up there, I would hope someone would save me. Ignoring blood status or houses. Just saving me because we are all the same, human."
