Hello, folks. This project's been on my mind for a while. I always found the Guardians of the Galaxy and Team RWBY to be similar in a lot of ways. They both started out as people who didn't get along with each other at first but eventually overcame their differences and became true friends. Hope y'all enjoy this funny story.
"Space. The final frontier."
A ship named the Milano flew slowly and peacefully throughout the galaxy. It's crew was the famous intergalactic heroes: The Guardians of the Galaxy.
"These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. It's five-year mission: to explore new life and new civilizations. To boldly go where no man has…"
"Quill."
"To boldly go where no man…"
"Quill!"
"To boldly go…"
"QUILL!"
Peter Jason Quill, aka Star-Lord and the leader of the team, groaned in annoyance. "What is it, Rocket?!" He growled.
Rocket, a genetically enhanced raccoon aka 89P13, looked at him with an annoyed look. "You've been talking to yourself for the last five minutes. So I'd appreciate it if you'd shut up and sit in absolute silence."
"Well, sorry if I'm a little bored and decided to quote Star Trek to spare myself the boredom." Peter said in frustration.
"Come on, you two. Let's not argue about this." Gamora, a green-skinned alien woman aka the adopted daughter of the Mad Titan Thanos and the Deadliest Woman in the Galaxy, said.
"I would enjoy seeing the rodent and Quill argue if it meant being spared from this infernal boredom." Drax the Destroyer, a alien with skin ornaments all over his face and body, said. "Don't encourage them, Drax." Gamora growled.
"I am Groot." Groot, a tree-like alien said. "No, I don't know what Star Trek is and I don't want to know, you dumb piece of lumberwood." Rocket said angrily.
"Seriously, we've been sitting in this ship for the past ten hours. If I have to sit in this and listen to Quill talk to himself about God knows what, I'm gonna lose it and blow this ship up!" Rocket cried out in exasperation.
"You should enjoy the peace and quiet while it lasts, Rocket. It's a good sign that the galaxy doesn't need saving right now." Gamora said.
"Yeah, well, It's too peaceful and quiet. Too "I'm gonna die of boredom" peaceful and quiet." Rocket said in more frustration.
"Relax, guys. Somewhere, somehow, something exciting's gonna pop right aound the corner." Peter assured the team.
Just then, a giant fissure in the galaxy appeared. The Guardians looked in shock. "You know, you really should keep your mouth shut, Quill." Rocket said snarkily.
"W-what is that?" Gamora said in shock and awe. "I-I really have no idea." Peter said equally in shock and awe.
"It appears to be dangerous." Drax said. "I am Groot." Groot said. "Don't know where this thing came from, bud. It just appeared out of nowhere." Said Rocket.
"Should we go towards it, Peter?" Gamora asked Peter. "I don't know. I think it'd be best if we avoid it. We don't know what that thing is or where it leads to" Peter answered Gamora.
Suddenly, a bright light appeared from the fissure, causing the Guardians to shield their eyes from the brightness as it enveloped them. As the light disappeared, the fissure was gone and so was the Milano.

When Peter woke up, he saw clouds and realized that the Milano was no longer in space and was slowly drifting through the clouds. He looked at the others and saw that they were still unconscious.
"Guys, wake up!" Peter cried out. The others woke up and were shocked to see clouds.
"I am Groot?" Groot said in confusion. "Yeah, bud. Good question. How come we're not in space anymore, Quill?" Rocket asked.
"Are…are we on a planet?" Gamora asked in surprise. "I think so, but the navicomputer isn't saying which planet we're on or what galaxy we're in." Peter said as he tried to reset the navicomputer.
Drax looked through the clouds and saw a building. "Behold, my friends." He said in awe to the others. The others looked at what Drax was staring at and looked in awe as well.
"I am Groot." Groot said in awe. "You said it, bud. It looks so beautiful." Rocket equally said in awe as well.
"It's…really beautiful." Gamora said. "Yeah, it's something, alright." Said Peter as he steered the Milano towards the building. As the Milano came out of the clouds, the Guardians saw that the building was on a cliffside.
"Think anyone's home, Gamora?" Peter asked. "Should be. But be careful, Peter. We don't want to cause a panic or attract any unwanted attention to ourselves." Gamora said cautiously.
"As if we don't attract enough attention to ourselves already." Rocket said snarkily.
Peter landed the Milano at the main avenue. The Guardians got out of the ship and looked around.
"Looks decent enough." Peter said as he and the Guardians walked in. As they walked through the main avenue, the crowd stared at them. "So much for not drawing attention to ourselves." Peter whispered to Gamora. "They all look like Terrans, Peter." Gamora whispered in amazement. A girl with bunny ears walked past the team while staring at them. "Except for bunny girl over there." Rocket whispered.
The team spoke to a random teenage boy. "Hey, kid. Do you know who we can speak to? Ya know, someone who's in charge around here?" Peter asked.
"Uh, you must be looking for Professor Ozpin and Miss Glynda? They're in his office." The boy said, a little startled by the company the strange man was keeping. "And where is this Ozpin's office exactly?" Gamora asked. The boy pointed at the large tower. "I-It's in the tower." He said nervously. "Thanks. We appreciate the help, kid." Peter said as he and the others headed to the tower.
The boy watched the Guardians walk off as the bunny girl walked up beside him and looked as well. "Who were those guys? Don't think I've ever seen them in Beacon before." The bunny girl asked in an Australian accent. "Me neither. Must be transfers from Haven." The boy answered.
"I seriously doubt that. Cause I'm pretty sure there aren't any giant walking trees and whatever the furry thing with the gun is at Haven." The bunny girl said.

After making their way to the tower, the Guardians headed up to Ozpin's office in the elevator. "Well, those kids seemed pretty nice." Peter said.
"Yeah, but what's up with the girl with the bunny ears?" Rocket said.
"I am Groot?" Groot said. "No! I ain't a rabbit like her, Groot!" Rocket growled angrily.
"This planet is….unusual." Gamora said. "Come on, fellas. We've seen unusual things before. How is this any different?" Peter replied cheerfully.
"I agree with Quill. We've seen many unusual things in the years we've been together. This should hardly come as a shock." Drax said with his arms crossed.
"I guess you both are right." Gamora said.
As they entered Ozpin's office, they saw a gray-haired man in a black suit wearing glasses and a blond-haired woman staring at them in surprise.
"Uh, we come in peace?" Peter said while doing a Vulcan salute with his left hand, causing Gamora to facepalm herself and Rocket to roll his eyes.
