Just so you know

Chad and Sonny = 20

Kevin = 29

Ranka = 36

Sonny smiled as she walked into her new apartment. The casts of So Random! and Mackenzie Falls had been replaced after four years and Sonny had to find a new career. She became a singer after giving up her acting career. She moved to California permanently and had tried to forget about Chad. She dated other guys, but she didn't feel anything for them. She missed Chad and she knew it.

Downstairs from Sonny, Chad frowned as he walked into his new apartment. After he was fired from Mackenzie Falls, he fell back on his music career. He was successful and won too many awards to count, but he was still missing something. Rather, someone. Sonny had broken up with him when they were fired from their shows. She moved on, but he couldn't. She was the only one he had ever loved, and she was gone. Although he wished for it every day, he hadn't seen her again in four years.

"Hi there." Chad looked behind him and saw his neighbor. He looked like he was Chinese and he was wearing a white dress shirt with blue lines running down the front and black pants. His long, black hair covered a bit of his eyes.

"Hi." Chad replied.

"I'm Kevin, you?"

"Chad."

"Nice to meet you." Kevin looked at the boxes in the moving van that Chad had brought along, "Do you want some help?"

"I wouldn't say no."

2 Hours Later

Upstairs

Sonny finished unpacking with some help from her neighbors. She decided to go and meet her other neighbors downstairs. She walked down and rang the doorbell of the first door she saw.

"Hi."

"Oh, hi." Sonny replied.

"I'm Kevin, and that's my apartment."

"Hi Kevin, I'm Sonny."

"Sonny, wait, Sonny Monroe?"

"Yup."

"I have a friend who would love to meet you."

Kevin ran over to where Chad was sitting down in his apartment.

"Hey, guess what?"

"What is it now?"

"Sonny Monroe is at my door!"

"Really?!" Chad jumped out of his chair, "I mean, really?" He said in a less excited voice.

"Would I lie to you about that?"

"Yes."

"Just come on." He grabbed Chad's arm and pulled him out to where Sonny was supposed to be.

"Wait, she was just here."

"I don't need my heart hurt more, you jerk." Chad walked back.

"No, I have to get those two back together." Kevin pulled out a checklist. He added "Sonny Monroe and Chad Dylan Cooper" to the list, "But first, I've got to find Selena Gomez and Nick Jonas. Playing matchmaker is so much fun!"

Kevin walked off too. Sonny returned from the bathroom just in time to see Kevin leave.

"Hey, where are you going?"

Sonny sighed and went on to the next apartment. She walked up to the door and heard crying.

"Maybe I should come back tomorrow."

Inside, Chad was crying as he looked at a picture he kept of him and Sonny.

2 Weeks Later

The crying person (Chad) had been gone for two weeks and was holding a party to celebrate his return. Sonny jumped at the chance to meet her neighbor, but wanted to make a good impression, so she went with her usual attire. She walked up to who she assumed to be the host of the party. His back was turned to her and he finished talking with someone else and turned around. The two both jumped back when they saw each other.

"Sonny?"

"Chad?"

"What are you doing here?"

"I live here."

"I live here too."

"I guess we'll be seeing each other more."

"Yes, we will."

Sonny made a motion to go, but Chad caught her shoulder and asked, "Do you think we could go out again?"

"Of course we can." Sonny hugged him and Chad melted into the embrace.

"Darn it, I didn't get a chance to get them together." Kevin said.

The two pulled away from each other and held hands.

"I'd go back to your apartment before you try anything." Kevin gave Chad a wink.

Chad smiled and followed his advice.

"Ah, young love is cute!" Kevin said.

"Isn't it?" Ranka said.
