Been writing a story that's basically forty pages of angst, and decided that I needed a bit of a break. So this came about. Apparetnly. Enjoy! Disclaimer- I do, in fact, own Doctor Who.
"We really must do something about that..." River muttered, trailing off. Amy nodded.
"Do something about what now?" The Doctor asked absently from the TARDIS console. River and Amy glanced at each other.
"Spoilers." River called.
"Mmm. Quite." The Time Lord replied, paying no real attention as he pulled a lever. With the Doctor properly distracted, Amy and River Song whispered to each other, quickly devising a plan. After a short moment, Amy started towards the Doctor, stopping once she was only a few feet away from him. She met River's gaze and the older woman gave a curt nod.
Without warning, Amy grabbed the Doctor from behind and used his tweed jacket as leverage as she threw him roughly to the ground.
"What in the name of-"
The Time Lord's exclamation was cut short as Amy sat on his chest and was joined by River, who pinned both of his wildly flailing arms firmly to the floor. The Doctor let out an indignant squeak.
"Amy! River! I don't understand-"
"Rory!" Amy screamed, voice hoarse. "Rory, we're doing it !"
Within a second, Rory came sprinting from the TARDIS hallways, and into the console room. His attention snaps to the scene unfolding before him and he races, barber razor in hand, to where the Doctor is being held. Wasting no time, he kneels next to the Time Lord's face and starts in, his implement slashing back and forth as he works.
After what feels like hours, Rory's movements finally cease and he lets out a relieved sigh.
"...There. It's gone, thank God." He says, standing up to his full height and wiping a thin sheen of sweat from his brow. River and Amy, too, joined Rory in standing, watching as the Time Lord slowly collected himself.
Tear tracks mar his features as he sits up.
He turns slightly and a choked sob escapes him as he stares at the curly wisps of hair that had once been his beard.
...Yeah...Anywho, thanks for reading! If you would be so kind as to leave a review, I'll throw a taco at you. Probably won't reach you, but it's the thought that counts, right? Right? Even if you don't leave a review, hope you have a fantastic day, and DFTBA!
