The Price Of Freedom III
Aircraftkiller2001
The attack moves to the Russian homeland...

A soldier rushes through a small wooded area, gazing upon a tall, metallic Tesla coil in the distance. Concealing himself well, he crawls up to the edge of the cliff, and takes aim. Through his sights, many soldiers are visible. He lines up on a Tesla trooper, and pulls the trigger on his sniper rifle. A large .50 caliber bullet comes spinning out of the barrel, ripping through the air, headed towards the troop. The bullet makes contact with the soldier's rubber armor, tearing through it into his neck, blowing a large bloody hole through the other end. He doubles over, as the newly created hole spills blood over the sand, tinting it dark red. The soldiers near him congregate around the fallen trooper, and the sniper lines up another shot.

His hands steady, he reloads, and fires another round at the group of soldiers. The bullet spins out of the barrel, speeding towards the small group. It strikes through the rear of one soldier's neck, tearing through his throat, speeding out through the other side, as it strikes the man in front of him in the stomach. Both men fall, spewing blood over the sand. A base alert sounds, and a desperate search begins for the sniper, who is well concealed in his sniping nest. Soviet tanks emerge from the base, attempting to aid in the search. A pair of American Grizzly tanks pull up next to the sniper. They keep hidden in the dense foliage. The Soviet tanks move forward, then turn left, showing their lightly armored rear. The gunner of one Grizzly lines up one of the Rhinos, and fires. The muzzle flashes with fire, as the large sh*ll flies out, screaming as it slams heavily into the back of the Rhino, the HEAT charge creating plasma, burning fiercely into it's armor, setting the tank on fire as it explodes into a huge ball of fire. The other Rhino begins to turn around, and the companion Grizzly opens up on it, giving it the same firey death it's comrade recieved.

The sniper gets on a radio, calling for air support. Soviet tanks begin to come out more often. The Grizzlies dispatch them with ease. A low roar from far away begins to get louder, signaling the presence of a squadron of Harrier attack aircraft. The VTOL jets scream overhead. Soviet flak cannons open up, letting loose huge black balls of deadly flak, sending shrapnel flying outwards at the aircraft. They maneuver around it easily, and let off missiles at the ground units, destroying them quickly and efficently. The flak cannons open up again, more forceful this time. A Harrier pulls up, into more flak. The shrapnel from the blossoming clouds of death pierces into it's thin skin, and it erupts into a comet of fire. The pilot attempts to get out, and ejects, catching on fire as he rockets out of the aircraft. The fire travels up the parachute lines quickly, and burns through them, sending the pilot down to his death.

Clouds gather over the base, large black clouds, brimming with electrical potential. Lightning sparks from cloud to cloud, as they grow and expand through a good portion of the sky. The soldiers and vehicles flee the base. Lightning charges up, and cracks down to Earth, electrocuting the men inside a few vehicles. Another bolt of lightning jolts through the Tesla coils protecting the base, melting them down into large puddles of molten steel. More lightning sparks, thundering down with great force and velocity, ripping through the remaining structures, electrocuting anyone remaining alive from the decimating assualt. The clouds begin to dissipate, and disappear into the air, and the sky looks bright and normal again. The base is completely destroyed. Fire erupts from what is left of a construction yard. American troops and vehicles move into the area, and begin work on a new base. The sniper rushes through the woods, off to fight again...
