Just a little drabble. It was supposed to be a longer piece continuing from the last line but... I didn't feel up to it. *shrugs* I'm actually not that fond of Stark but I said I'd try to do one for a friend. Maybe I'll get around to the original idea later.
What is he without the suit? He plays it off when the comment is made. The suit is just an accessory. He is so much more. A genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist. He is hardly the average Joe off the street. He's earned his position here for more than some new shiny toy.
It seems to roll off his back that he's the normal one of the group. He has no special training. He hasn't been gifted with super-human qualities. He's the mouthy civilian consultant and he's proud of his status. This is all the others see. It's all he ever wants them to see. So he makes sure that they look no deeper.
His life is out in the real world. He owns a company and works from home. He goes out partying on friday nights (and other nights too). He drives fast cars and the only ones chasing him are the police to hand out tickets. Compared to them, he is decidedly normal.
