Chapter 1: Gametime planning and realization.
The light of the day reached into Ian's bedroom, the brightness making him open his eyes. He could smell something being cooked in the kitchen and heard a few voices.
"Do you think he'll be up yet?" A familiar voice said. "Nah, he'd be up at around 11." Anthony's voice sounded, ringing in Ian's ears. I wonder who that is? Could it be Kalel? She doesn't usually come over. He rolled out of bed, resulting with Ian falling face first on the floor. He sighed and got up, realizing he wasn't wearing any pants, got back in and put them on. He wandered into the living room and spotted Mari chewing on some bacon pancakes. "Mfrning Ian" she said with her mouth full of bacon. "Morning." He said, a little more than tired. He slumped down onto the sofa and closed his eyes. He shot them open and sat back up, pointing at her with a questioning look on his face.
"Why are you here?!" He asked.
"That's a little mean, Ian. You guys said we're gonna do Gametime tonight, so I popped over a little earlier." Mari replied, wiping some grease off her mouth with her sleeve. Ian nodded and went over to the kitchen to get himself a plate. "These smell really good. Did you make them, Mari?" She nodded. He went back over to his seat and began eating. "So what games would we play tonight? Minecraft? Rock band 2?" Mari asked, setting down her plate. "Nah, Minecraft's your thing. I watched a few of your video's with Wes and Joven in it." Ian replied. "And as for RB2, we shouldn't do that. Remember how it went last time?" Anthony said. Flashbacks throbbed in Ian's mind, making him chuckle. "Nah, we shouldn't do that to Joven. How about Cards Against Humanities? The last time we played that, the viewers loved it." Anthony said. "Yeah, it would be fun to play with Yoda again." Mari said, chuckling. Ian nodded.
"Well, I'm gonna go tell the camera guys we're playing tonight and hang over Kalels, so you two have fun!" he yelled, walking out to his car.
"So, what should we do?" Ian asked. "I have no idea. I've never actually been alone with you, I'm kinda creeped out to be honest." Mari replied. "I'm afraid you're going to attack me or something," she said, laughing. Ian stood there, blank. His heart thumped in his ears, that had gone bright pink. "Ian, are you okay?" Mari asked. "Y-Yeah," Ian said, breaking out of his trance. "I'm gonna go get dressed, I feel awkward" and hurried off to his bedroom. He really did feel awkward.
