OMFG it has been FOREVER since I last wrote anything! Not because I was upset about the negative feedback on my last story btw. Just school, pretty much. What with studying for SATs and APs and ELC and PE and Anatomy and US History and a bunch of other stuff, I've been pretty busy. Which means I knew I had to write a fic that was fun and wouldn't burn me out. So, I've decided to do a "letters to country/state/province/city" fic! *shot. Please give me a chance ;-; Massachusetts is cool I swear. I'll do my best to be accurate (I live in MA and I'll use the internet for what I don't know :p). Since there's obviously no letters yet, I'll let MA introduce herself. Hope you like her~
World Name: Massachusetts (you can call me MA though)
Human Name: Allyson Jones (or Ally; not Al 'cause that's confusing)
Gender: Female (duh)
World Age: 393 (officially a state for 225 years)
Human Age: 17
Race: Unusually pale Caucasian.
Hair: Shoulder length, unkempt, purplish-brown with a curl on top (instead of the curl pointing back like my bro's, mine points forward. So it basically looks like a tiny horn).
Eyes: Bright green. Giant England-like eyebrows that I can't get rid of (grr).
Family: America (yay!), England (ugh), Native America (sigh), Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware…you get the idea.
Sexuality: Straight (France~ 3)
Religion: Catholic
Political Affiliation: Democrat (Go Obama!)
Pet(s): A Boston Terrier named Benny. Also a tank of fish.
Likes: Going to the beach, clam chowder, and snow.
Dislikes: Rain, traffic jams, and England.
Extra Info:
I'm the 7th least extensive, 14th most populous, and 3rd most densely populated state all in one!
Lots of famous people live and/or have lived here, like the Adams family (that's "Adams" not "Addams"), the Kennedy family, Dr. Seuss, Edgar Allen Poe, and more!
I was the first state to legalize gay marriage! *waves around rainbow flag*
Come to think of it, I've always been a hotbed of change, like with abolitionism and education.
When I was little, I was waaaaay different from what I'm like now.
When I get pissed off, I talk in a Boston accent.
You can ask me about pretty much anything, even though some of it will probably make me sad.
Yes, don't be shy! I'll do my best to be accurate. I got most of this info from Wikipedia, which I'm hoping is right (if not someone say so). Ask stuff in the reviews. You could message me if you would prefer to be anonymous with your questions, but other than that, stay with reviews. Once I get a few I'll update with MA's answers! Until then, see ya~!
