Summary: In the beginning God created the world.

In the beginning God found himself lonely. A deep loneliness that was rooted through him, like an infinite abyss of darkness. The angels, in their quiet content nature, could hold no entertainment for him.

So he got to work. He created the Earth, and when things in Heaven stewed and boiled over he lost track of it, and the Earth had to make due by herself.

With no knowledge of God's blind eye, the Earth kept turning. Over many years, the Earth watched from within herself as the creatures within her oceans sprang forth, grew new limbs, and conversed. The Earth was pleased when the lofty bulky creatures died out. They were violent, and malicious, and held no real thought process.

What followed were ages of cold, until one day the ice gave way to new vegetation, and new life. The Earth was enthralled with the new plants, and creatures that followed the long years of cold.

Most of all the humans caught her eyes.

They were small, but resourceful creatures, and she found herself pleased with all around her. She watched as they grew, and learned, and evolved.

They offered to her ,the Earth, blood sacrifice, and for a while the Earth was pleased.

But, as humans evolved they stopped their gifts, and instead focused them on God, who only watched when the need aroused him.

The Earth grew angry, and merciless, striking out at the humans in floods of heavy water, and strong gusts of endless wind.

Still humanity ignored her, claming them as acts of god, or just geological occurrences.

The Earth was beside herself with anger.

Where was the love they once held, where was the worship, but most of all where was her blood sacrifices?

Then, the Earth devised a plan. She would get what she wanted, and over many moons she worked. She created humans, new life, from pitiful pleas for children.

Each would be unique, and more importantly each would be hers.

After that task was completed, she began to work again. A holding place, was what she needed.

So, then after many more moons, the Earth had created The Island.

Then she waited.
