Mai rubbed her temples, trying to get rid of the headache that was forming. Being in the dungeon wasn't helping anything, that she was sure of.
It had been alright, she supposed, since the wrestler joined them. Ty Lee had kept the Stone, or whatever his name was, busy. Even now, the two of them were off somewhere. At least Ty Lee wasn't bouncing around the place, Mai's headache would be even worse if that was the case.
Then there was Azula and that poor fellow they had captured from Kyoshi Island. Mai sipped her tea thoughtfully. He couldn't stop foaming at the mouth. Once he had the misfortune of foaming over Azula's feet. Well, it wasn't a surprise that Azula was somewhere making him pay for that little mistake.
As for herself, Mai was bored. That wasn't much of a surprise, she had been bored many times before. While she was bored on this day, however, a notion had entered her head. Azula's old uncle was being held in the dungeon and his advice was only second to his passion for tea. Feeling in somewhat of a charitable mood, she gave him a visit. She even brought tea, no less.
The old man, bound in chains, sat across from Mai gave the tea an envious look. "Tea is good for headaches," Iroh said. "It's also good for aches of the heart."
Losing her composure for a moment, Mai choked on her tea. Iroh gave her a sympathetic look. "I was asking for some tea," he added quickly.
"Of course," she replied. She had regained her composure in a moment and sat the teacup in front of Iron. Leaving Iroh, who was looking at the teacup sadly, Mai exited the cell quickly. Iroh was left broken-hearted, partly due to Mai leaving and partly due to the fact that the tea was out of his reach.
