p style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: medium;"strongSo guess what? I've decided, after many many months, to update this chapter using my new writing style! I realize that before the update, this story was kinda scrappy XD So here is the new and improved version!/strong/p

p style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: medium;"strongEDIT:/strong/p
p style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: medium;"strongHEY GUYS! It me from the future! 2015 is pretty gr8.. Gay marriage is legal, Dan and Phil wrote a book, and I've just come across an old story. Admittedly, this was not a pleasant discovery. I found myself thinking "I should just delete this story all together" BUT NO! I am starting over! I know that many of you have probably lost interest by now but I feel that it is my duty to continue. I promise you, my writing has improved immensely. Hopefully this story won't be such shit. So yeah, if you're reading this now, and you are interested in the story, please click on my USERNAME to get to my profile. From there you will find the new and improved version of this fic! Keep in mind that I have school, though, so my process will be pretty slow (hopefully no more two-year hiatus tho). Thank You!/strong/p

p style="font-family: sans-serif;""C'mon, Harry!" Shouted a short, blond boy as he ran towards the giant train ahead of them. "Hurry up so we can get a good spot!"/p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;"Harriet, the boy's sister, sped up towards the train, smiling at how excited her little brother was to finally be going to Hogwarts. Her parents, however, were not so excited. They had spent the last four hours crying and saying how "their little boy" had grown up so fast. As to which Harry could only reply, "He's only just turned twelve."/p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;"Of course, now that they were at the train station though, their parents had dried their eyes and put on a smile for their youngest child. "We're gonna miss you," said their mother, looking at Harry's brother. She didn't so much as emglance /emin Harriet's direction. "Love you baby!"/p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;"The boy hugged his parents, noticing how they had ignored his sister, and turned towards the train again, this time without acknowledging them. Harriet smiled and patted his back./p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;""You're a good little brother, Johnny Boy," she said./p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;""Dont call me Johnny Boy, Harry!"/p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;""Okay, fine. You're a good little brother, emJohn. /emHappy?"/p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;"John smiled. "Very."/p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;"The two siblings laughed gleefully as they boarded the train. John's eyes widened in amazement at the sight of the giant train, but nearly fell forward when they started off. He quickly jumped up and ran over to an open spot, sitting down with a thump. Harry had gone to sit with her friends now, so he sat alone and waved to the people outside, from a window./p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;"When the train had entered the outside air, he closed the window and opened the door to his booth, peering out into the hall. Kids were talking, yelling, eating, and laughing. The trolley had just passed. John frowned in disappointment./p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;"Not even two minutes passed before John heard a loud bang out in the hall. He jumped in surprise and opened the door, careful not to be notice or notice anything he wouldn't want to see. When he looked out, there was a large group of boys, third or fourth years, gathered around someone. John, being the nice idiot he was, stood up and carefully walked towards them, peeking between two of the shorter boys./p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;"There was a boy with bruises all down his face and arms curled up in the center of them, crying silently. Blood was in little puddles on the linoleum floor, on his clothes, and in his hair and mouth./p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;"Feeling brave, John jumped into the group./p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;""Hey!" He shouted, lunging at the boy who had just been kicking the younger student. Caught by surprise, the boy stumbled backwards, snapping his wand in the process. Face red with fury, the angry and shocked teen sprang up and punched John square in the face. Sharp pain pounded in his head, blood dripping down from his nose and split lip. The boy reared up again, this time kicking John's stomach area. The pained teen fell to the ground in pain, wincing./p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;"All of the sudden, the boys were scurrying back to their seats, closing the doors. John opened his eyes, expecting to see a teacher of some sort. But there was no one around- at least of any authority. Suddenly he became aware of someone crouching next to him. When he turned to see who it was, he saw a pale boy with curly, jet-black hair. He had beautiful pale blue eyes, and blood dripping from his cheeks./p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;""You- you just did... that," he whispered to John. "For me?"/p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;"John nodded. "I had to."/p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;"The boy scowled. "You don't even know me."/p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;""I don't," John admitted./p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;"The boy winced in confusion. "You wouldn't like me all that much."/p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;""Can I maybe decide that for myself?"/p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;"The boy frowned. "They all consider me a freak."/p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;"John snorted. "Why would they call you that? You don't seem like a freak to me."/p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;"John felt bad for this boy, and wanted to know more about him, but didn't want to sound creepy. He decided that he would start small- to see if he was trusted./p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;""I'm John Watson by the way," he said, holding out his hand./p
p style="font-family: sans-serif;"The boy didn't take it. Instead, he nodded, and stood up. "Sherlock."/p
