"I can't believe Mum's letting you get married on the Quidditch stands," said Percy Weasley as he fidgeted in his chair at the Leaky Cauldron.
"Let's be honest, neither can I," Charlie laughed as he downed another tankard. "When I suggested it to Padma, I was shocked that she agreed in the first place."
"A Quidditch wedding. Really, that's the only reason I'm showing up at all," said Ron with a wink.
George rolled his eyes. "I'm just shocked you're getting married at all!"
"The only one more shocked than you is me," said Charlie. "But what can I say? Padma is a beauty, and I'll do what she wants. I mean, she's smart, gorgeous, and to top it all off she loves dragons so…"
Bill snickered at the love struck expression on his younger brother's face. "You've got it bad, Charlie. You've got it really bad."
"Really though," said Charlie, putting down his mug. "Thank you so much for being here. I know we haven't talked in a while and…"
"We're family, Charlie. We can't not show up," said Percy. "And hey, it's a beautiful night – the moon is shining, the witches are looking gorgeous—" Percy took a not-so-subtle look at a blonde woman standing by the bar.
"Watch yourself, least Audrey hears about this!" laughed George.
"Hey!" interjected Ron. "Let's have a toast to Charlie, getting ready for his wedding tomorrow – may he not be whipped!"
"It's a bit late for that, little brother," said Bill. "He did agree to get married!"
