Kisame always had a soft spot for Itachi, Mostly wishing the weasel would accept or notice his feelings. But no, every day/ every time they went on a mission Kisame could see the pain in his eyes, the sorrow that he'd never let show. Kisame knew of his past back in Konohagakure. So, did nearly everyone in the majority of nation's, The Lendendary Uchiha Itachi, the man who slaughtered his own clan. But everytime they went past Konoha, Itachi had that same sadness in his eyes, Through his dark emotional appearance, through his sharingans was something Kisame hadn't noticed before. Regret. He had hoped and wished for so long to be able to comfort his partner, especially since the weasel, never said he wanted help, But Kisame always thought that he didn't want people to know he WANTED help and comforting, especially from some shark man who looked like some kind of freak, but non-theless. Kisame was the only person who really understood Itachi. And was glad he had a partner like him. And they were both glad they had each other, even in the cruelest times, They understood each other, and when Kisame had the guts to ask the raven out on a date to get some dango, the raven had smirked up at him, and said a small "sure" even though it wasn't how he'd thought Itachi would react, he was ecstatic that, Itachi said yes.

Kisame was a member of the Seven Swordmen of Kirigakure, who had recently left his village ALONE, by himself and no-one to comfort him, Itachi was of the Uchiha clan of Konohagakure, who had left his village too, Alone, and by himself, found comfort in each other's arms. Desperate for someone who understood them, someone who knew what he was going through. And didnt care what he did (Itachi) or his appearance (Kisame) but for them,

And they were no longer alone in their thoughts.
