In the middle of cool dense forest fourteen year old Eren Jaeger walks along an lonely muddy trail, vines had started to overgrow on some parts, but there was evidences of others travelling up this remote part.

Around him he could hear the eternal sound of this ancient woodland. The birds sang loudly, the creatures of the bush move slightly along, paws of the predator strolled over the earth. The flowers filled the air their fresh scent, the colours of their blooms stood out against the many greens.

Eren's new brown leather boots sank into the earth below, his sole and heel was caked in mud, putting weight to his long hike. This made little difference to his pace, the young man was strong enough to take more because of his intents training.

Green eyes glance upwards to the sky, the tall trees that made a ceiling of deep green, as the sun above tried to peel through, the leafs lit up in a much lighter green.

He felt a drip of water touch his lips, which he quickly licked. His light brown jacket was wet on his shoulders and chest, from the heavy downpour hours earlier. He wore long white trousers, which was tucked into the knee high boots, and a shocking yellow vest could be seen under the standard uniform jacket. A large rucksack was upon his back which was black with brown stripes.

The teen was a mismatch of colours. A year ago he asked his friend Mikasa to stop making his clothes since he was growing faster than she could make them. So he would buy second hand items and got them cheap if they needed a little mending.

Needless to say, Eren had no fashion sense and cared little for it, as long as he had clothes on his back he was fine. He knew he loved the colour green and wanted to always wear at least something that was that colour, but for now the yellow would have to do.

Eren blinks forward and smiles widen when he notices the trees ahead lessening and opening up. Somewhere ahead of himself he knew he was nearing humans, their voices had just reached his keen ears.

Eren grins boldly now, he had been travelling for three days by foot. Quickening his pace he laughs as he walks into the full light of day, then blinks over to his smiling fellow classmates that came to welcome him. He waves in greeting as he hurries over pleased to see another living soul after three days wandering on his own, but this was also part of his training.
