Tide by the waves of love.

A simple poem with Zane's and Alexis' thoughts on each other. And what happens one night at the lighthouse...
-May fortune arise with your setting of your sun-
-May the night becalm your sorrows-
-May I stay by your side, forever-
-When the breeze plays with your white trench coat-
-When the sea air blows your dark teal bangs into your sea green eyes-
-I know you're there-
-Waiting-
-Waiting to hear from me, to understand me, to listen-
-You are the only one who understands-
-Never pushes me to talk-
-Or demands I stay silent-
-For this I thank you-
-My friend-
-When I look out of the window-
-I see your dark figure already waiting at the lighthouse dock-
-Calm, silent, mysterious and apart-
-Apart from others-
-'Sept I-
-I hope your darkness reunites with light-
-That day brings you fresh, new dawning hope-
-And that you share the special moment, with me-
-As moonlight shines upon your patient face-
-As the sea salt sprays against your legs, yet you ignore it, un-answering-
-I feel your presence-
-Waiting-
-Waiting to feel wanted again, to feel love, to know thought-
-I am the only one who grants you that solitude-
-You never demand from me-
-Or leave me stranded-
-For this I thank you-
-My friend-
-When I see your deep, emotionless eyes, guarded-
-I feel pity, but I strive to bring you back from sin-
-Strong, determined, caring and apart-
-Apart from others-
-'Sept I-
-Maybe we are more than friends-
-Maybe we could become more-
-Maybe I should go, leave him in peace-
-No words are needed with your presence-
-Yet you stop me with your look, your folded arms, your eyes-
-How is it that you captivate me so easily?-
-But looking across the waves we both know that it is over-
-I cannot let her go, I cannot make another mistake-
-I turn, but something stops me-
-I reach out, hope's last thread-
-Those eyes...-
-I stare...-
"Don't go." I whisper
"Never."
Ta da. Not my favourites but hey. Please review.
