- Daniel Cooper (48) is the BAU Section Chief, the direct superior to SSA Jake Madsen. His job lies in administration, and he had little field experience.

- Jacob ''Jake'' Madsen (30) is the Unit Chief of the BAU. He is a former prosecutor and was originally assigned to the FBI Field Office in Los Angeles. He is one of the most experienced agents in the BAU. He struggles to balance his job with his family life, his wife Traci Madsen divorced him because he was to obsessed with his job and his wife couldn't take it any longer.

- Kelly Jones (27) is the team's Technical Analyst. She joined the BAU after bringing attention upon herself by illegally accessing some of their equipment; she is offered a job in lieu of a jail sentence. She usually supports the team from her computer lab at San Bernardo, but occasionally joins them on location when her skills can be used in the field.

- Eduardo ''Eddie'' Duran (22) is a Supervisory Special Agent with the FBI BAU. For a time, he was the acting unit chief of the BAU, taking over as Madsen stepped down when he was depressed because his wife divorced him. He specializes in explosives, fixations, and obsessive behaviors.

- Loren Tate (18) is Supervisory Special Agent with the FBI BAU. She mostly talks with the significant people from the victims and handles with the media. She's the youngest from the team and she was done with college when she was 14 years old. She's a genius psychologist with an expertise in body language, predominantly micro expression's.

- Ian McCain (24) is a Supervisory Special Agent and Unit Senior Agent at the BAU at Sydney, Australia. But he's transferred to Los Angeles.

- Melissa Sanders (22) is a Supervisory Special Agent of the BAU. They transferred her from a normal cop to the FBI. She mostly is at the crime scene and she looks at every little thing.

- Adam Miller (21) is a Supervisory Special Agent with the BAU. He is hailed as a genius and an autodidact. He doesn't use a gun and he specializes at puzzles. He's a genius and he's one of the smartest person on the planet. Sometimes people thinks he's smarter than Einstein.


The BAU (Behavioral Analysis Unit) is a department of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation's National Center for the Analysis of Violent Crime (NCAVC) that uses behavioral sciences to assist in criminal mission of the NCAVC and the BAUs is to provide behavioral based investigative and/or operational support by applying case experience, research, and training to complex and time-sensitive crimes, typically involving acts or threats of violence.
