Dante is around 30, he's met Nero and Kyrie, after leaving Yamato to Nero he was once again alone, seeing as Patty had left years before. No longer on talking terms with the girls. He looks like he did in the anime, my thought is that Half devils age almost as slowly as devils, especially if their demonic parent is extremely powerful (like Sparda).

Kill. Kill. Kill. Man was he dying to just hurt something. It was in the nature of Devils to destroy and shed blood, but Dante kept his growing urges under a tight lock and key, under a constant mask of disinterest. Morrison hadn't come to him with a hunt in a while, he knew that the girls were being vultures and swiping everything up. At least his debts were paid, but he had no interest nor will to spend any more money. Heck, he might as well just close the shop and become a wandering mercenary again, he made more money that way.

He picked himself up when an old man dressed in robes entered the shop. He radiated a hidden power under the fragility his age demonstrated. While he was physically fragile, and it wouldn't take much to crush his bones, that unknown power thrumming under his skin had Dante hesitating to attack the unknown entity. Call it instinct, but even if this guy was powerful, he was no threat to the half devil. "You are, Anthony Redgrave?"

Dante's eyes widened a fraction, he hadn't gone by that name since he was a teenager. He schooled his features faster than the human eye could catch, however. "What do you need that information for?"

"I am hoping to offer a job."

"Of what sorts?"

"Teaching."

"I'm a mercenary, old man. get lost."

"At a school for magic."

"So you want to learn demon summoning? Yeah, no. Go to the Umbran Witch clans, I'm sure they'd be happy to induct more into their folds."

"No, Mister Redgrave. I want you to teach this." The old man stated, the silver haired man watched as he procured a folder from the folds of his robes, and slid them onto his desk.

Dante skimmed through the contents. "And why should I teach this?"

"You are a mercenary, surely you could do this well paying, nine month job with ease?"

"I'll get the contract out."

"As will I, for teaching for a set time, of course."

The two drew out papers with clear, medium sized print. Pen and quill were drawn out. Dante read the contracts carefully, making sure his part was in order and that what he'd been told was exactly what was stated in the contract. He signed his parts and watched Dumbledore sign his. Magic sealed the contracts and they burned up, shocking the hunter. "They are heading off the to American and British Ministries of Magic, well, the American Congress and the British Ministry. Now, as was stated, you have one week to tie up loose ends here and then you will be expected in London, I shall send another of my employees to fetch you for the portkey. Pleasant days, Professor Redgrave."

Dante shuddered at being called a professor only after the door to his shop had shut. "Well group, what do you say to a stint in London?" Dante asked aloud, turning to the wall adorned with his Devil Arms he'd collected over the years.

Silence, of course, but they did project an aura of excitement, they were bored as he was. "Sounds good, yes brother?" Agni. "Oh yes brother, London." Rudra.

As he did for years, Dante grabbed the two swords and knocked their 'heads' together. "I believe I established this rule when I was fifteen, boys. No. Talking."

The swords dutifully shut up after apologizing again. Dante merely sighed.

He was waiting with his bags and boxes for this employee of Dumbledore's to pick him up, then, a strict looking woman dressed in tartan robes showed up. "Anthony Redgrave."

"That's me, you must be Minerva McGonagall."

"This is all you own?"

"Yeah, I know, not much. Don't really need much."

"I will shrink these boxes so they fit into your duffel bag. Then we will be off."

"Alright, just leave that one, magical items are in that box, it'd be dangerous to shrink them."

"Then we will send it by owl."

"I can carry it."

"Then open the box and I'll put the rest into it."

Dante did as asked, luckily he'd hidden the Devil Arms in special dampening wraps, so she thought he was serious on volatile magical objects. The other boxes were quickly placed in the box with his weapons, which was large because of the sheer amount of weaponry he owned, and he held it tightly as the portkey did its thing, McGonagall keeping a tight grip on him. He landed with ease, if not a bit wobbly, gaining approval from the old witch. She led him up to the school doors after a short walk, well, short in his opinion. She looked a tad tired after the trek. They entered the Great Hall and were greeted by Dumbledore and the other staff around a table in the middle of the hall. Quills, parchment, ink wells, and small snacks laid out over the table.

"We were awaiting your arrival to begin the first meeting of the school year, today's agenda is sorting out classes and classrooms, new teachers, and the extremely long list of banned items that Mister Filch had drawn up. I feel it is time to edit that list and the school rules." Dumbledore announced.

McGonagall took her place by Dumbledore since she was Deputy Headmistress, Dante sat in the only other open chair, his box going beside him. When an elf popped in to move it, he told it he'd do it himself, but thanks anyways. He swore the little creature was almost in tears of joy when it immediately popped back out. "New teachers, new classes. Both are joining this year. Welcome Madame Delores Umbridge, our Ministry Appointed Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. And mercenary Anthony Redgrave, our new Life Skills and Demon Defense Professor."

"Demons?" Umbridge hissed.

"A sadly never ending problem. I won't teach the kids how to track and kill, but I will teach them how to steer clear and defend themselves if necessary, in theory." Dante assured her, thinking she wanted to keep them weak. Her smug look at this said it all. Nothing practical or useful would be taught in that hags class, now, how to incorporate defense lessons into his classes? Maybe certain spells would work on lower level demons? Ah screw it, he's just go over every spell he could find that was legal, and maybe a few illegal spells to...

"And what life skills be?"

"You know, healthy diets, keeping the body physically healthy, cooking, camping, and...I'll give a scenario. Say you are lost in the woods, no wand, no food, no water, no extra clothes, no shelter in sight. All you have is some basic equipment, an emergency water purifier, and some flint or matches. What do you do?"

The teachers were silent, until Snape spoke up. "First you must find shelter, build a tent of sorts out of branches, moss, and maybe rope or vines if there are some around. Packing stones around it for support would be smart as well. Then, build an area for a safe fire, digging out a trench and lining the outside with damp stones. Put dry leaves, grass, and twigs into it if you have matches or flint. If you are stuck without, two dry pieces of wood, one with a point and the other flat with some dry grass, should be able to make enough friction to create a fire. Next would be water, find a stream with fresh water, no salt, and fill the purifier with it. If there are instructions, follow them, if not, do your best to make sure it is used correctly. That takes care of water. Now is food. At this fresh water, you may wish to try your hand at catching fish, whether by hand made spear or just by hand, but where fresh water is, so are predatory animals. Your best bet would be insects, ants or crickets. Your next best option is to wait until nightfall. If it doesn't rain, find the northern star and follow it until you possibly reach a sea shore, which you can follow to a sea side town and call for help from where you are from if this is not your town. Or you find a town or city further inland."

"Right. Now, would the average student know that? No? That is the point of Life Skills."

Snape was given odd looks, but the man was a secretive one, there was lots they did not know about him. The rest of the meeting was almost pointless, in the Half Devil's opinion. Umbridge was an absolute toad however, killing her would definitely satisfy his devil half for a week or so. However, he had lesson plans to draw up and unpacking to do. Who had time to hunt absolute wretches at the moment?

Getting to his new classroom, with office attached, and newly installed athletics room across the hall on the first floor, he sighed at how sickeningly bright it looked. He got to work putting up the wall mounts and his furniture first, placing his mother's picture with care on its usual place at his desk. His devil arms went up to their places on their wall mounts, including Rebellion. He took a look at the desks at sneered, he'd have that changed into an auditorium-like set up ASAP. He also decided on seating plans first, he was most looking forward to the Slytherin-Gryffindor class, apparently the fifth years were particularly troubling. He set them up for groups of 6, which would be two people in each row, there being three rows, beside each other and sitting as a group, with the next group having two in each row, and the third group following behind them. He split them between Gryffindor and Slytherin, no separation in this class. And Potter and Malfoy would be forced to get along, seeing as he put them right beside each other in the front, closest to his desk where he would see them.

Next was the work stations for cooking, each group would share a kitchen, splitting into three because there would be two kitchen sets within a single kitchen. Minus fridge and freezer which were placed outside the kitchens. The athletics area had a parkour course, a standard gymnasium court of which multiple sports could be played due to the multi-colored court outlines. A decent sized pool, a regular obstacle course. A running track wrapped around the whole area, and a skating rink was just outside but covered. Attached, were two change rooms and shower rooms. He slipped back into his classroom and put up his trophies and now enchanted jukebox, with Elena's record hanging where it should. He closed all the curtains and now the room felt like his office again. Now, his office. He replaced the regular crap with his own old, well made furniture, and darkened the room, a trophy or two and the regular mantle pieces over the fireplace before moving onto his own room. Once again, his own furniture and darkened dusty room, and his clothes were put away according to coat they matched. He set out his newest, sharpest looking coat that had no brown leather, only black, black undershirt, sharp, wispy edges, new black gloves, and he'd polish his sword, guns and holsters.

His instincts were screaming at him that a large amount of unknown people with the same dangerous magical power, not completely trained, were arriving, so instead of entering the hall, he hid by the doors to watch the large amount of teens and children entering, followed by a pause, and a large group of eleven year old's that had no house colour. The first years. He waited until McGonagall ushered them in, and her disapproving glare down the hallway clearly for him being late before he stepped from the shadows, indicating he'd been there the entire time. She shook her head and motioned for him to enter the hall, he shook his head, indicating he'd wait and see for any threats. "Sorry, Minerva. It's instinct, hunters never willingly enter unknowns before assessing the commotion completely, give me a bit to adjust and I'll come in."

She loosened up a bit and nodded. "Take your time then, Anthony." She entered the hall.

He watched the sorting, and Dumbledore spotted him in the doorway as he was introducing Umbridge. "Our newest teacher, and for the new subject no less, had a deeply ingrained instinct to observe before entering unknowns of untrained powers that could lash out at any moment, please welcome Devil Hunter Anthony Redgrave, the Life Skills and Demon defense professor. Please make him feel welcome."

"Where is he, professor?" Was heard from somewhere among the red table, who exactly he couldn't pinpoint, but it was someone younger for sure.

"Why, the Great Hall doors." Dumbledore announced.

Every eye turned to the figure in the doorway, tall, intimidating, sharp. Giant sword on his back and pistols glinting at his hips. He looked at them with cold grey-blue eyes shadowed by slightly messy strait WHITE hair. Despite barely looking mid 20s. Dante decided to step forward and take his place at the head table, leaning his sword at his side. Still, he felt stares on his person. Oh well. Despite the fact he hid his unease at all the smells and energy floating around, he managed to make it through the night without fleeing, until a hex was sent his way, of which his sword was quickly slashed through, dispersing the magic. The seventh year Slytherin that had sent the hex at him froze at the speed the huge metallic object had been moved. Everyone had. This was the last straw for the half-demon, and Dante left the hall in a flurry of red fabric and metal.

The next day classes started, and to say that Dante's class was the most anticipated was an understatement. Even if Dante himself hated each group more and more, what with existing prejudice against anything muggle and solid physical work that had nothing to do with magic, these kids were awful. Finally, the last class of the day came about, and Dante was dreading the fifth years. All day he'd heard whispers of Malfoy and Potter, and the existing major rivalry. But it was too late to switch seating plans now, and his lesson plans revolved around the groups themselves. He hit himself lightly, curse his actions. he's never teach again after this year, he swore to himself.

As the fifth years came in, he held them all up by the door, lining them up against the wall. "Alright, I know this is different, but I made a seating plan. There will be no stupid house rivalry crap alright? This class is for your sakes, not mine. Now, top row, first third, which is closest to me desk. You will not all sit in the top row, but sit in pairs. First student in each pair will sit on the inside, second on the outside. Now, top row, and this would be the fifth desk, Nott. Sixth desk, top row, Granger. In front of Nott, Greengrass. Beside her in front of Granger, Zabini. Second row. First row, that is, closest to the ground, is Malfoy and Potter. No. No talking or shouting! Go sit! Second third, this time the first person called will sit closest to the already seated people. Top row, Finnegan and Dunbar. Second row, Patil and Parkinson. Third row, Davis and Thomas. Third quarter, same as last time. Top row, Crabbe and Goyle. Second row, Weasley and Brown. Third row, Bulstrode and Longbottom. Everyone seated? Good."

"Professor, if I may ask, why put up in groups?"

"One, to hopefully stop at least some of the ridiculous rivalry. Two, for teams and group work. See the kitchens back there? Your group, Granger, has the first kitchen. The second group has the second kitchen, and the third has the last kitchen. Teams, well, you'll see when we get to the physical activity part of this class."

"Alright." She responded, uneasy with the pairing no doubt.

"Now, this course has aims. The first half of the year will be spent strictly on the Life Skills aspect, the second half of the year will be Demonology. This is because the physical aspect of the first half of my course is to prepare you for demonology. I have these packets for you, they basically outline the course aims for Life Skills, and our first units of focus. If you read the first page, this has to be sent to your parents about a potential field trip towards the end of the semester, paid for by the ministry funding if enough students are allowed to go, to Japan to truly put the skills you'll learn to the test. As you can do terrain survival in Japan, in multiple areas be it the forest or the mountains, of even the grassland areas. The second page, is the first focuses of this course as introduction to Life Skills. We'll start with light physical activity for gym days, I'll bring you over there to show you the gym in a moment. Some light jogs, stretching and yoga, swimming. Just little activities to start building stamina. In the food aspect, we'll start going over proper diets and the difference between healthy eating versus the opposite, while introducing you to basic cooking skills with light snacks. Seems simple for the first week, right? Now, leave your belongings here, we won't be gone too long, we are just going across the hall." Dante instructed, having gotten use to the increase in talking he had to do.

The students all followed him across the hall, and he unlocked the gym doors. "Until the second month, the gym will be locked unless I'm in there, I don't want anyone hurt because of the equipment they don't know how to use. As you can see, the set ups of multiple different types of sports are here. When we come here next I will tell you what each court or track set up is for. Back to the classroom, and your assigned seats please."

"Why is it so dark in here anyways?"

"This is what you'd expect from the DADA teachers."

Two students, Dunbar and Weasley, spoke. "My office back in Capulet Town is much the same atmosphere. Now, I need to lay some ground rules. I think this first one is the most important, NEVER touch the weapons on the wall unless I say you can. Many of them have minds of their own, and would not hesitate to hurt you. Take Cerberus for example, this guy may seem harmless, but if he feels like it, this hell hound will give you nasty frostbite. Nevan, the wicked looking guitar, turns into a scythe and conducts electricity, I'm sure you wouldn't want to run into her deadly volts. Second rule, don't go into the kitchen without supervision. Third rule, don't wait to raise your hands, that's not how things work in the real world. Last rule, skip out on my class and I'll give you all the work you miss plus more next time I see you, understand?"

"Yes Professor."

"Ughh, you've all had the toad then. Just call me Redgrave, I'm no certified teacher."
