Autumn Fun
It was a brisk autumn morning, and the ground was littered with the glorious colors of fallen leaves. Many of the littlest tykes who had finished their morning work, had scooped up many of the beautifully painted leaves, into large piles, on the soft grass. They were gleefully jumping into the mounds, crunching the leaves, so that they would have to deposit more onto the pile. After a while, the older children joined them, and with their help, the piles reached great heights. The older children's stronger, and larger arms allowed for the humble piles to transform into masses of greens, yellows, reds, browns, and oranges.
Most of the children were outside taking part in the fun of leaping in massive piles of color. Now we bring our attention to a small boy. He was sitting on a stone porch waiting. A few children that looked his age said, "Oh come on Faramir, he's not gunna come, jus' jump once? It's fun!" but Faramir respectfully declined their offer, and he sat.
He was waiting very intently for someone, and was not going to miss him for the entire world. He sat for a long while, and then figured whom he was waiting for was not coming, and took up the offer of his friends and bounded in the leaves. Faramir's friends laughed at his entrance, (for he had accidentally jumped on an older boy's head) and dived into the pile of leaves after him. They were throwing the leaves into the air, and trying to catch them before they fell. Faramir was laughing for the first time since his brother had left to go somewhere exciting the week before, and Faramir's friends noticed, and were pleased. They were swimming in leaves. Then a horse's hooves could be heard form up the road, but the merry children didn't notice until an auburn hose came close to the pile where the boys were playing. Faramir looked up, hair full of leaves, smiled, bounded toward the beautiful horse, and said, "Boromir, your back!"
Hi, I just wrote this because I was bored. Um Faramir is supposed to be about 7, and thanks to Sevilodorf I now know that Boromir is 5 years older. Don't worry; Boromir is not going to Rivendell. Cya, remember, I like reviews.
